there are 10 weights...among which 9 weights are equal. In how many least possible comparisons can you isolate the weight which is not equal to the others.
I was looking for a recent integral on the form $$ \int \frac{p(x)}{ \log x + q(x) \log x}\,\mathrm{d}x\,. $$ I thought it was a nice problem to give to calc1 students, but wanted to look up the q and p polynomials
The run rate was within control...just needed one run per ball, an easy target...but messed it up by trying to hit huge shots and getting the victory early...same old impatient mentality...
