@cmw No. It sounded mad and probably is. Welcome back. Have you recovered from the election?

@tony Not really. And probably never.
I'd argue this was a magnitude larger than Brexit.
@tony That would be good.
I read that Biden had decided that Ukraine may shoot American missiles deep into Russia now.
@cmw Do you think it will be far worse than his first term?

@Cerberus Yes. Far, far worse.
I hope there will still be enough people to resist him.

cmw
@Cerberus I think they're all gone.
We'll see, one way or another.
I remember many of the people he himself appointed mitigated his actions, last time.
So we shall.

@Cerberus A lot of those people were foisted upon him. He's become more brazen in his picks this time.
Let's hope the senate will block the worst ones.

@Cerberus Gaetz's appointment will be the big key. Thune is ostensibly a Trump ally these days. He's kissed the ring, along with everyone else.
Ostensibly.
I read that Republican senators were against appointing Gaetz?
> A majority of Senate Republicans doubt Matt Gaetz will be confirmed as attorney general, sources say
More than half of Senate Republicans, including some in senior leadership positions, privately say they don’t see a path for the former Florida representative, according to a number of Republican sources.

Yes, that's why I said it'll be key. If he's confirmed, it's over. If he's not, there's a very tiny sliver of hope.
Perhaps Trump's clique merely put Gaetz forward as a first negotiating bid.
They know he won't be confirmed.
So they may retract him as a gesture of good will, then get most of their non-egregious candidates approved?
So does Attorney General mean Minister of Justice?

@Cerberus About, yes.

Q: Learn Italian vocabulary from Greek and Latin roots

Matheus FerreiraIs there a book similar to "Donald M. Ayers's English Words from Latin and Greek Elements" for the Italian language? I would like to find a book that takes the Greek and Latin roots and systematically shows the words that originated from them in Italian. I appreciate any help!

@JoonasIlmavirta Thanks! Not too much longer now before it premieres.
@cmw Man, I have made a point of avoiding the news since the election but I see the cavalcade of insanity continues anyway.

I'm not much of a carpenter, but I think I could put together a more reasonable cabinet.
