@JoonasIlmavirta Have you seen these translations of Catullus into Finnish? rudy.negenborn.net/catullus/text2/finnish1.htm

@cmw Nope. I thought Catullus has never been translated into Finnish, apart from isolated poems.
The translation is not metric.

Can't have it all.

@cmw There seems to be an older translation of Catullus as well. Judging by the name of the translator, it's metric. I'm not sure if copies are anywhere to be found, though.
Hmm... There are second hand copies for sale online. Perhaps I should get one.

So you can have it all! (If it's good poetry and accurate to the Latin, that is.)

I can't take a look inside without ordering a copy, but I do think it's going to be both. I'd be quite surprised if Päivö Oksala surprised me with going far in the opposite direction.

@JoonasIlmavirta I would feel confident if it's the same team that works on the Mandalorian/Book of Boba Fett.
20:00
@Adam I'm not sure that's going to happen, though. The events of the Mando-verse take place much later than the life of young Lando.
That said, I wouldn't be surprised to see familiar faces behind the camera. It's just that it's not automatic as far as I know, as opposed to Ahsoka.
20:43
@JoonasIlmavirta True; I was mostly just thinking that the same care that this team has with post-Empire stories would be helpful for pre-Empire.
Actually, isn't there a series that's going to be set during the High Republic?

I have been quite contemplating on it lately @JoonasIlmavirta - All the questions they may be having and their amazement.. sigh (RE: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/message/63101350#63101350)
