Joonas: Given your affinity with Sweden, are you concerned over developments there: rising (gun-) crime; a swing to right-wing politics; all of this wrapped-up with immigration problems?

@Joonas: Almost amusing, in a sick way, hordes of young Russians approaching the Finnish (and other) borders in an attempt to avoid Putin's draft. Are you guys bothered about this? Reminiscent of young Americans disappearing into Canada, to avoid the Viet-Nam war. Putin does not appear to be carrying his people with him.

@tony I haven't followed Swedish things much. It's geographically and culturally close, but I only see what's in the Finnish news and that's not much.

@tony Yeah, this is being discussed here. I think many people would like the government to just close the border completely, but the government wants to act within the confines of the law and see what's possible.
