What are people's favorite grammatical constructions?

@Draconis Maybe a conjunctive of hesitation or the ACI.
Do you have a favorite?

@Draconis Greetings!
I think that'll be the...I don't know what it's called.
Dicor ferox esse.
Especially in more complex sentences.
It's hard to translate, and yet easy to parse when reading.
Is it an n.c.i.?
I think so.
@Cerberus It is.
I quite like NCI too. I seem to think of it as a passive ACI, seeing the two as the same phenomenon.
@Cerberus That'd depend on the target language. Finnish is quite flexible with this kind of thing, far more so than English.
That's good!
The only thing is that it doesn't have to be a nominative, does it?
09:02
@Cerberus You mean in NCI? I think it has to be.
Or rather, I'd call it something else if it had another case.
NCI, ACI, GCI, DCI, ACI, VCI...
@Cerberus Or do you mean passivizing ACI without a nominative?

@ktm5124 Which question was that?

Oh, I forget. I think it has received upvotes since.

Due to a recent enthusiastic comment, let me remind of a meta discussion we had: Should we have topic challenges? What do you think? Is it too early, should we give it a try, would it make any difference to you?
<sits up> OMG, we're emphasised!!
21:06
Is that a royal we or a canine we?
It was we, chatters!
