@JoonasIlmavirta I've added some information I just came across to my answer to your question about how to say "four o'clock exactly."

5 hours later…

@JoelDerfner Thanks! It might be my feeling sleepy, but I don't quite see how your examples imply that exacte would mean "exactly at (some time)". Maybe I should give it a look with fresh eyes tomorrow.

Has there been a meta post that tackles the question of reasonable effort in translation requests when a beginner is making the request?
We've had a few drive-by questions from people who obviously are not interested in Latin but have some pet phrase/company name/project idea that they don't know how to translate into Latin
I don't have a strong opinion either way...I'm just not sure if there has been any consensus about whether/when these questions are appropriate

Yeah, I'm thinking that such a meta-post would be a good idea. The more of these questions we get, the more I think we should insist that there be some reasonable effort.
@JoonasIlmavirta I was simply thinking temporally. If you can say, "a hundred years, [after] which exact [amount of] time," then presumably it's not such a stretch to say "at four o'clock exactly."
