Of those born 2004–2009, about 67% have received at least one shot now.

Those younger have not been vaccinated yet, I think.

@Cerberus I was recalling earlier in the year when Joonas mentioned that it was only individuals over 50 or 60, something like that. It seemed like vaccinations were being rolled out more slowly because there wasn't enough vaccine available.

@Adam Yes, cohorts received their invitations as vaccines became available.

I got mine in June/July.

I think children over 11 got theirs somewhere in August.

It hasn't been approved yet for younger children.

By Europe, yes, but not yet by the Dutch government.

@Cerberus Ahh, wasn't that much longer of a wait then.

@Cerberus I got mine in early May. I could have done it sooner, but I wanted to make sure that people who needed it first could get one since they were more limited in supply back then.

@Adam Ah, there were no timed cohorts?

@Cerberus There were, they were just ahead of everywhere else in terms of date.

@Cerberus: I have been a tourist in Amsterdam. I might have walked past you, in the street (and Seb), or stood behind you in the now long-gone Bakkarbart's. I would've thought to myself--there's that man from LatinStack!

cmw: How long did it take to get through the airport? How do you remain of pleasant disposition in such frustrating and trying circumstances?

@tony It wasn't actually all that bad. The airport was quick, the agents at the desk were helpful, security wasn't a hassle at all. The only grumpy person I encountered was the American immigration agent who scowled the entire time I was fingerprinted to be let back in the country. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant experience. (Some of the fellow travelers were grumpy, but they seemed like miserable people to me.)
