@Sconibulus Steam doesn't let you chose the patch level, sadly. If you already have an older installation, copy that folder and start it directly, without Steam. Else, see if anyone can set you up with an older version.
I've started playing through FF12 for the first time and I'm not really sure how to 'level' my characters.
Is it worth specialising in one particular type of weapon/armour or will I gain enough points as I go along to be able to switch between different types? If changing to different equipment ...
Grass deterioration was introduced in City Folk, and remains in New Leaf. I didn't pay much attention to it in City folk, and I've heard there have been changes to grass deterioration in New Leaf.
What causes grass to deteriorate, how can I prevent it, and how do I fix grass that has already det...
My son's tablet broke and when he gets a new one he is hoping he will be able to access all his saved worlds on his new device. Is this possible? Will the minecraft servers have his data saved if he re-installs his already purchased app?
I'm playing on someone else's 3DS where he is the Mayor and I am just a resident. We are both concerned that because we are both gathering fruit, digging up fossils, etc., that it'll lessen what the other person will have to collect. Does anyone know how often fruit, fossils spawn and whether tha...
CK2 is a happy mix of "global" strategy ... and personal conflicts, especially with some more fleshed out mods. Which other game lets you have a secret relationship with your own daughter, siring a child in the process which goes on to become the new pope?
@MartinSojka heh, military drill is a MUST for ground wars against poland, and that one that givs you a +1 naval morale boost is a MUST for naval battles against England
i've lost naval battles to england when i outnumber the bastards 4-1 on morale grounds!
my guys are killing their ships and then they just say "oh well, we lose"
@Sconibulus The open waves. EU3 actually models the fact that for a good part of the 15th and 16th century, triremes were actually fairly competitive in calm waters, like the Mediterranean.
@MartinSojka like galleys? my galleys always seem to get trashed by big ships anyway. i mainly build them to sit around and gather tariffs. or is that barques?
@Jez Galleys. They are cheap, so early on you can afford to build plenty of them and as long as you can lure the enemy into your pond, you'll win - on numbers alone.
@Sconibulus It's a strategy game. You can say who will fight and what the composition of your forces is and try to dictate the place of the fight ... and that's it.
@Jez Galleys 1. are faster (so usually attack first, the problem is when the English have a good leader of their navy - which they usually do, doubly so if they're a "Lucky Nation"), 2. have more shock value, 3. get an attack bonus in shallow waters, 4. tend to focus fire (as opposed to spreading it like carracks do) and 5. are dirt cheap. Don't be afraid to go over your naval force limit, let the English come to you, smash them with twice to thrice their number of ships.
I can't seem to find any information anywhere about the speed of the GregTech advanced pump. Considering that it is constructed from 4 BuildCraft Pumps and consumes quite a bit more energy, it seems like it should be an improvement in some way. The only information I have been able to find is a...
@ZetaTwo If you want to look into Off be sure you google "off by mortis ghost", you'll never find it otherwise. It's a small, free indie game, but decently long and very good
I'm newly the Wendish Emperor, as well as King of Poland and King of Lithuania. I also have enough of Pomerania to create that kingdom whenever I want.
Because I still have gavelkind succession (Poland's starting Crown Laws suck and I haven't had enough rulers yet to get high enough Crown Author...
