I am quite sure that Como El Sol from Dread Mar-I starts exactly the same as a song from Monkey Island.
I did however search through the Mix'n'Mojo soundtracks collection and couldn't find that song.
Does this come from a Monkey Island song? Which one?
I play a mage and have obtained 100 focus via crafted items and a blue ring. Should I bother with t1s other than to experience the content or move right to t2s?
I ran a few simple tests, and it looks like no, you can't. The hitbox of the minecart completely swallows up the chicken, which becomes effectively invulnerable. You just end up breaking the minecart.

A while ago the third button in the Mach Defense command screen was available and listed as 'Tactics' with a series of icons on the right bar that suggested different types of formations. However, even after repeating level 70 several times I never gained anything that could be used in there, and...
I downloaded the Noble map pack when it was first released and although Xbox live says that I have downloaded it, its not showing up in game under the DLC section of matchmaking. Its only showing the new one which I haven't purchased yet.
Any ideas where it could be hiding? I have downloaded it ...
I play on a 2v2 team as Protoss, my ally is Terran.
1v1 rush handling is fairly straight-forward, and if you're prepared for it the defender gets the advantage because of quick reinforcements, high ground, etc.
In 2v2 however, when a rush comes, it's twice as strong, and the defender is at a di...
I think this (or similar) happened to me.
I received an email telling me I had been granted some invitations, and now my profile on careers is gone. When I click the My Profile thing at the top, it tells me that I can sign up for one.
Then I tried to use my invites to invite myself back :p, an...
I see that there is an HTML version of Angry Birds. How do I use it? I'd also like to have the icon on my launcher so I can run it as it's own application.
While using the (speedy) search on SU and toying around with votes: and users: I quickly hit the wall:
The speed of the search fell down from "pretty quick answers" to "zero", without any feedback. I understand the motivation behind that. But I do not have a stopwatch around to wait for the pe...
I'm tired of changing batteries of my Xbox controller. I'm considering to buy a Kit PLay & Charge. Does it worth it? How long until the battery gets unrechargable?
Hi, I need help identifying an arcade game I played in the 80's.
This is the only game I have been addicted in my life, and it would be awesome to show it in some emulator to my buddy who always played with me. I am not a gamer at all, so I don't know precisely all the terms etc, but I will try...
Recently I've been hearing lots of rumours about a beta for Diablo 3.
Is this true and if so, will it be an open or a closed beta?
Preferably based on facts.
Hi I've finished the game once already as a mage, and have restarted as a warrior. I was wondering what I should build Bethany towards being. With Carver it was easy to make a choice given the gigantic sword he start off carrying, but with a mage you can take them in so many different directions....
I'm on level 22 and I can't save manually any more it just goes over the last one, what do I do so I can save again? Do i have to delete saves and how do I do it please
> On a humorous side note, several of the regular computer users who participated in Canonical's Unity usability tests mistakenly thought that the Software Center's brown paper bag icon in the dock was a recycle bin.
Ah well, that's it. The second browser war is over, we can declare Chrome as the winner now
> Chrome OS, the non-operating-system OS that powers Chromebooks, now can do a lot of the things it couldn’t late last year. You can print! You can plug in cameras and USB sticks/devices! There’s a music/video player! It sounds like…. Windows, MacOS and Linux. Huzzah!
One and a half years on, I still don't "get" Chrome OS. What the hell is it suppose to be? Surely claiming that "everything" can be done with a browser is ridiculous
@ArdaXi My biggest problem is that, sure a lot of things can be done in the browser, but what if you don't like what's on offer right now, or if it can't do what you need it to do, like say with Google Docs?
@ArdaXi I was under the impression that Google has written a new GUI layer for Chrome OS. I assumed that was to stop existing windowed apps from working on it.
@ArdaXi That does defeat the point of a Chromebook... seeing as the main selling point of Chromebook is to do everything in the web browser, and is what sets it apart from any other Netbook.
You can't do everything in the browser, but you can do a percentage of things that is approaching the number of things that people like my mom do with computers, so I'm all for it.
So, Xbox redeemable codes are 25 character case insensitive strings of letters and numbers. However, it has been suggested that not all letter/number combinations might appear (eg. 0/O). In the interest of fraud detection, what is the definitive (read as: {{Citation needed}}) list of possible c...
When out on the map screen if you mouse over hex's, or in the strategic view you can see icons if a hex contains a resource. Wheat and Banana's show up when you do this yet they are not luxury/strategic resources. Show why do they show up?
One of the things that I hate about video games is that, in almost every video game, the villains are completely and often ridiculously evil. Usually they're trying to completely destroy the world or something ridiculous that is completely, without a doubt, the morally wrong thing to do.
This m...
Can anyone explain the class selection system present in Rift. I understand that there are 4 diffferent classes. My main confusion lies within the "Souls". How are these souls picked? how many can we choose? any further details would be great.
Also any recommendations? I am coming over from WoW,...
I recall finding Moss Stone on one of my single-player maps some time ago... however I haven't seen it recently (after taking a break from MC around Beta 1.2, I've now started playing again on Beta 1.5). I do almost exclusively play on my friends' SMP server now, and so I was wondering if Moss S...
"Publishing giant EA has continued its battle with Activision over who makes the best 'real world' first-person shooter game by releasing its next title at the same time as its arch nemesis' next offering is out." <-- So, they've left the non-'real world' market to (primarily) Valve?
I know Valve's not the only company there, I just thought it'd be funny to say. :D
I was testing things on my TF2 Event server, forgetting completely that it has a different whitelist than my production servers.
Well, guess what... the default TF2 whitelist forces all sounds to come from Steam.
So, my hl1 and hl2 sound sets worked up until a map change, and then stopped... had me stumped. Apparently, I'm not setting the sv_pure setting on the command line, and it only takes effect on map change, so setting it in server.cfg makes it not affect the first map...
Mental note: add +sv_pure 1 to startup scripts.
or apparently autoexec.cfg gets executed before the first map change.
Also, in your e-mail you ask for mailing address + contact details; I was asking what contact details you're looking for. I'd rather not give out my phone number if I don't have to.
So </tzenes> @Mana, when I say "The words are mostly redundant with their predecessors", the "predecessors" in this case means the "mailing address". Catch my drift?
So, I'll be honest. If you're playing on Wi-Fi Basic Brawl, your definition of a pro and my definition of a pro might be different sorts of skill levels. Still, there are four main mechanics in my mind which, once you get a solid grasp on, will surely make you a much stronger Brawl player in gene...
"Skipping threes and skipping fives/ perhaps that's how one derives/ the answer to this wordy tale/ but you won't win, you're bound to fail" <-- same game, same puzzle
Medics are not usable units in the multiplayer component of Starcraft 2, along with many other units that exist in campaign but not in multiplayer.
Here are the campaign-only units for all races:
Terran
Zerg
Protoss
This is my most upvoted answer? Seriously?
I should just give up on everything else and answer only SC2 questions
After finishing the Quest (Valkyrie), I noticed that when I am blinded monsters no longer appear as monsters...instead they show up as colorful question marks.
I'm not sure exactly what the correlation was, other than that is the last thing that I really did. I did some searching of the Wiki an...
I'm playing Twilight Princess for the Wii. I just entered the Sacred Grove for the first time, fought the woods kid, and got the Master Sword. Reading the heart pieces guides, I see that I have to bomb a specific stone in the grove to get a heart piece (and a Poe's soul). Problem is, I got in wit...
If I am away from my computer but the game is still running (not paused) and the place where I'm standing proves to be unsafe and I die, will all my dropped items disappear in five minutes, or do I have five minutes from when I respawn to pick them back up?
Ooh, you can build things faster if you hit them with the Jag wrench, but it's not building things that takes a long time... it's upgrading them, and Jag doesn't help you with that at all.
Is is possible to play mutliplayer game of Civ 5 that you started on a LAN connection over the internet? If so how?
Also how does private rooms work? a friend and I want to play against each other but just want to play eacy other and some AI teams. is this possible?
@badp True, but the Jag's building speed increase is an active effect... i.e. only when you hit a building with the Jag. Of course, the other wrenches also increase building speed if you hit a building with them when they're going up, just not by as much.
@Powerlord I think I actually read some explanation for that one, since I recently ran into that card not long after PAX East.
It was on the TVTropes article for Magic: The Gathering, I believe, so I think it'll still be there. Probably under "Awesome but Impractical", with an explanation for why.
@sjohnston I don't know enough about new cards to know if there are instants that can force a creature to be exiled when they would normally go to the graveyard... but if there is, there's surely a card to exile creatures directly, no?
In any case, to use him, you need both a way to get to him (since you're not terribly likely to draw him) and a way to pay for him or otherwise get him into play. Since you need to really engineer your deck around the card's use for it to be at all effective, I don't think it's overpowered
