I want to be able to go back in time of playing to analyze my playing. This question is general and applies to any JavaScript game such as Lord Of Ultima.
Typically an achievement is something to work for and forces you to modify your play style to get it. However, in TF2, Consolation Prize (get back-stabbed 50 times) isn't exactly something to boast about. Are there any other non-achievement achievements like that in TF2?
not that there aren't good and great Space 4x games out there, but with such a rich universe in Star Trek, you'd think they could build an awesome game out of it
Why are so many gaming videos' titles on Youtube prefaced by a "Let's Play"? Is some official company or entity sponsoring each video, that these users are working for? Is each video submitted to a weekly contest or something like that? Or is just a collective meme for gamers on Youtube?
I read through the explanations on how to set up a military, and in the new version of DF it seems that anything beyond training requires setting up burrows. I set up a burrow on the doorstep of my fortress intending to make it part of a patrol route, but as soon as I finished creating it, all th...
My seven-year-old daughter gets lost in most flash game sites that I know and have bookmarked. This is really frustrating, the sites push the actual game behind two or sometimes three clicks and send you from page to page. The game at the end is also of very low quality. I am sure there sites whi...
In older versions, it is possible to use the hub to disconnect jump gates so you can keep them safe and 'claim' them for yourself. Is it still possible to do so in the latest version? I've tried the same steps with 1 and 2 sets of gates but I can't seem to reproduce it, is there something I for...

Hi all,
I'm trying to build an automatic cactus farm and I need some help.
I know cacti must be placed on sand, and water/light are not required. The thing I don't know/understand is how to place a roof on top that will break the cactus when it grows.
I tried placing a dirt block two blocks ab...
I recently got a new computer, which means a new installation of Windows. On my last, I had Bad Company 2 installed, and was able to start up the game while maintaining my Dvorak keyboard layout (I didn't have to do anything special, I just had to re-map my keys to my liking). But now, when I sta...
I decided to leave them in first person mode... I originally had done the second of those with a free camera, but missed several important things because people were in the way.
Damn wikia SEO is super annoying. Seems like every game that once had a wiki with them has moved away, but they're still top in the search results, even when terribly outdated
I've seen a lot of questions, on this site and in many gaming forums, about Dwarf Fortress. I know that it's free, and I like dwarfs and mining, but I never tried it — mostly because I've heard that it's learning curve is so high that you need to invest a lot of time before starting to have fun.

@RonanForman But it's pretty much stolen. I mean, I was really confused when I saw that picture, since I'd seen it in its original context really often (having been an avid EVE player for a year).
@badp Actually, the answer is no, you're connected to a local demo playback instance, not a game server. So, not surprisingly, the answer to "Do you get drops while editing or rendering?" is also no.
I'm currently on the market looking for components to upgrade my computer I am looking at GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5 and wondering if I can use my NVIDIA 465GTX with this motherboard. I'm not planning on getting SLI configuration. 1 card is enough for me.

Ryan
In the wake of the outage of PSN and SOE, I've been wondering what technology that Sony uses to run the PlayStation Network. For example, I've heard that Xbox Live probably runs on Microsoft's Azure Cloud platform-as-a-service; but the PSN's underlying infrastructure has seemed pretty much opaque...
Is there any way to have workers spread out to all nearest crystal straight away at the start of a game?
Selecting all workers and sending them to 1 crystal node makes them all swarm to that node after which they start to spread out. This seems inefficient and inconsistent with their otherwise in...
I am playing Project IGI 1 and I am on Mission 2.
In this mission I got all the bombs/weapon I need to blast the tank. But when I plant it by clicking the mouse it exploded. I checked out some you tube video and found that I need to install the tank bomb on tank. For that which button on keyboar...
@badp Might I suggest trying to be a little less terse in comments on closed questions? I'm just saying, there are users who are honestly confused by a closing, and this might make them lash out. Closing is, after all, a hostile move toward the user, whatever you make of it.
