@fredley Sounds like the perfect time to embed a virus that deletes their computer with a message that says, "You're too stupid to use a computer. I'm fixing the problem."
@tombull89 Add in their other plans of microtransactioning everything, and EA's generated all sorts of hate. They have a lot to do if they want my gaming dollars.
@fbueckert And as they shat on Command and Conquer (I mean, that's a sequal to Generals? One of my faviourite CnC games and the last best one before the medicore CnC 3 Tiberium wars and it all went to hell with Red Alert 3)
I just hope Ellen McLain still works with Valve. Now that her voice has been in a feature film, I just get this bad feeling that she'll try to do that instead of games. :/
I've heard that they're making her voice sound less like GLaDOS in the final movie, but that her voice will still be there.
> While GLaDOS actor Ellen McLain will supply an AI voice in Pacific Rim, she will sound different from the trailer. For that, Del Toro said he specifically wanted GLaDOS' voice running down a power-up checklist before the mechas go out to confront the monsters. He even sought (and received) Valve's permission.
@OrigamiRobot The NEI plugin (the thing in your inventory) will tell you recipes. Search for what you want in the bottom search bar, then hover over it and press R.
@RavenDreamer Any reason for this retag? If anything, I'd think we should be moving away from the generic dlc tag, not towards it, whenever possible.
(I'm open to the argument that the From Ashes tag should be nuked entirely (which you didn't do), but even if so, I don't know that adding the DLC tag is needed, even in that case. I'd think that DLC specific tags should really only be needed if 1) the DLC has lots and lots of questions, or 2) the DLC being installed fundamentally changes the answer to a number of questions in ways beyond simply expanding the subject area (i.e. changes actual game mechanics across the board such that...
old answers are no longer valid if the DLC is installed.)
Game modes are the standard one-song-one-run in "basic" Beat Hazard, the same but feeding from internet radios, survival (playing a string of songs in sequence and seeing how long you can survive) and boss rush (the same but the game spawns bosses all the time - incidentally, the best mode to grind money on)
@StrixVaria Yes, it can. One of the christmas achievements in a Steam event two years ago or so was to survive for 20 minutes to a xmas internet radio thing.
by the way, meta consensus says that dlc should be pwned (re: @LessPop_MoreFizz)
I've been having this unusual issue lately with my Xbox and certain bits of DLC.
Typically when I start to download something, I can press B or the Guide button to send the download to the background, and then I can check on the status of the download and the queued downloads by using the "Act...
I hate having "active" missions in my journal which I can't complete. Thankfully many of the side missions in Mass Effect 3 can be completed for a few credits from the specter room on the citadel. Not sure if that's the case for the Omega DLC side missions.
I didn't complete the Mass Effect 3 Om...
@badp My inclination is to have fewer, rather than more tags. As I said above: If the DLC is substantial enough to have lots of questions (say, Jeff's old 10% of the parent tag metric?), or if the installation of the DLC materially affects the answer in a way other than simply expanding the subject area (i.e. if the DLC changes the way a core mechanic works in the base game), it probably needs a tag. Otherwise, it probably doesn't.
For Big Picture Mode, they always advertise on the game's Steam page that it supports full-controller or partial-controller. With that, they will show it with a picture of the Logitech F710. I know that they do support the Xbox 360 controller for Windows.
Are these the only controllers that Stea...
Special moves use Spc Atk, and Spc Def in their damage calculations.
Normal moves use Atk, and Def in their damage calculations.
How do I know which move is which?
In EVE online there is a role called 'Trader' - which allows you to buy and sell items on behalf of your corporation. I have this role on my character, but whenever I try and sell an item from a corporate hangar at one of our offices, I only have the option to sell the item on behalf of myself.

@fbueckert Is it answerable with a criteria? i.e. "any controller that supports superprotocol XYZ is supported by default. Others may work with third party drivers, YMMV."
@fbueckert I've said this before, but if your only problem with a question is one of semantics because you feel that as phrased it generates bad answers, but if you just rearrange the words, it will somehow magically get good answers, you're worrying too much about this shit.
There is a difference between a question that needs improvement because it is fundamentally flawed, and a question that is asked using different words than you would prefer.
What I mean by the title is if you take pig's home while their dead does that stop them from spawning? Or does having them die from a mob or you killing them change their spawn time? If you could also post the normal respawn time that would be nice too.
Damaging an enemy ship's systems in a battle reduces their capabilities, the same as them doing damage to your ship's systems does. However, unlike everything else on a ship, the only function Sensors have in battle is providing you with more information about the two ships.
Does damaging an en...
@fbueckert No worries. Friendly disagreements are not something to get worked up over. :)
@fbueckert (Besides, if I really wanted to be pedantic, I could have pointed out that it's specifically a list of three items which are explicitly supported, because that's the word the question used. Not which controllers work, which is a much broader list.)
I don't think there's any point in posting to r/mylittlepony. I posted the bookmarks. It got 250+ upvotes and peaked at the number 2 position, yet only gained 5 comments, none of which are actually useful, and the source image was downloaded an incredible 11 times
I mean, karma is nice and all, but in the end what would really make me happy is a. feedback so I can improve or b. people taking this stuff and actually doing something useful with it instead of just looking at the image and say, "oh that's a neat idea"
