@GraceNote it's actually fungi, I got some dried (alongs with some dried masutake) from a friend and couldn't figure out the best way to eat it, until I looked it up.

@fbueckert After pretty much killing off my party in the first two chapters, I had to swap.

I'm sure it's a good game and all, but hearing about FE has really made me glad I didn't pick it up...sounds like it has lots of exactly what I don't like in those sorts of games. Locked in decisions (marriage) micro-optimization, crazy difficulty...

I had to use Frederick as a meat shield for a couple of the beginning maps; took away his Silver Lance so he didn't accidentally kill everything.

@BenBrocka This one is much friendlier to beginners. You don't have to take advantage of any of the harder (and more in line with older games) features.

What does +XP refer to in tech descriptions of Endless Space? For instance, in "Hardened Framing", its description is given as: "+6 ship XP on building on star system". Does this mean the built ship gets +6 hit points, or the hero leading the system (if there is one) would get 6 experience points...

I promise to abolish all ridiculous prequel questions. Maybe even the prequels themselves, we'll see.

Lately we've been seeing a lot of why didn't X recognize Y in an original work when the prequel clearly has them meeting (I'm looking at you Star Wars). The answer to every one of those questions is because prequels are almost never a good idea, and they always stomp on the existing work and corrupt continuity.

Next thing you know we are going to end up with a prequel movie which is as long as the three movies that come after it.

I support this platform unequivocally.
