I have a PC version of Dead Space 3 (it is not on Steam, it's on Origin) and I want to know how to change its interface and captions language to English.
My Windows 7 display language is English, but data format is not.

I only have 8GB of RAM, which is 4x my previous computer. The most I've used is 60% (with Firefox and Photoshop). I think I could reasonably use everything if I try to do video editing or run more than 2 VMs at the same time

Reminder: if you don't have a swap file and, for any reason, Windows runs out of memory, Windows handles the situation very gracefully and blue screens immediately.
@badp That's kinda what it's there fore. IIRC if you have tons of ram + a swap file windows will only ever use the swap file if you're almost out of ram

@badp "should be", depends on usage. I don't hit 16GB while recording lossless 1080p for example, and video games use pretty negligable ram. But some stuff like high resolution graphics processing can eat ram like crazy
only time I've hit 16 GB was because of an apparent memory leak in chkdsk on win 7 with very large drives
If only there was an always-running background process updating them as soon as possible in the background, rather than waiting for you to launch them.
@fredley ...and that would keep tracks of games you've installed so you could remove them and reinstall at any later date, while keeping your save files on the cloud
but my point was more about the number of games I have installed that have their own launcher, rather than Steam, @badp bought up Steam while trying so hard to be smart but ultimately missing my point altogether
