Q: What determines fleet size?

I have a hostile neighbor whose fleet's are more powerful than any of mine. The problem isn't that I don't have good enough ships, but that my fleet sizes are too small. With my best ships I can only merge two at a time into a fleet. Is there a way to increase the size of a fleet?

Which is a much better system than the name thing. That was just annoying.

It's difficult to come up with a system more irritating that those RSA "authenticators" but somehow ArenaNet managed to find one for GW1!

Sadly, the mass banning of bots and some changes to drop rates have grossly decreased the frequency of dye drops. The trading post price has gone from about 2.5 silver per unidentified dye to about 15s, over the course of 2 weeks

I invested a bit in dyes because they accidentally increased the drop rate, then acknowledged the mistake and the fix before the market noticed. So the prices dropped 30% and were pretty much guaranteed to go back up.

But that coincided with the mass bannings of bots, and the price just kept going and going and going

I got that rich because the profession was basically broken. It introduced a resource (inscriptions) with hundreds of variations. Every player needed several of them, and they needed to be replaced every time you respecced. Additionally, there was a relatively easy mechanic that allowed you to learn a new rare one every day or somesuch. So until the rare ones were commonplace, you could easily have a server monopoly.

GW2 definitely makes it harder to play games with the market. Cross-server auctions and high fees limit you in a lot of ways

Q: Homestead quests are missing

According to this guide, every homestead quest from 18 on is missing. I thought they might be in later sequences, but no one popped up until the very end. What did I miss?
