@Dragonrage True, but I was just pointing out that the comparison between Vanilla and Modded Minecraft is even more blatant that the average Elder Scroll game (and those aren't already that great without mods imho.... it is kinda pathetic that they can't have a decent companion system like Companion Vilja after so many games... they haven't even reached the quality of Companion Share&Recruit yet!)

Sadly I mostly play on console, so I kinda ignored it since I assume it will end up like TeS. "Good base game but with blatant defects that you have to fix with mods" (see: Skyrim not having a decent way to give equipment to followers)

Skyrim it's weird because there's no zero g sections where being upside down is relative

@SPArcheon but the problem is when you get too familiar with a formula that you can't change, case in point Call of Duty

and even if it doesn't get stale, you end up developing a fan base that will reject any sort of sudden change

Zelda's changed almost as much as Final Fantasy

And yet it is still about Zelda, someone called Link, etc.

The lore is so easily recognizable that they can get away with some changes

but the funny thing is that Zelda fans, as annoying as they can be, weren't making up things to complain about when a new game came out. things that were almost constantly disproven

the fact that the plot hasn't magically became something like "Zelda has been killed so now Link is going on a journey of revenge to make Ganon suffer - now with 100% more blood" may have helped ?

Rune Factory 2 the twins "play" at marriage with the female character and the game doesn't register it as a proper marriage allowing the female character to marry one of the guys

@Memor-X In Hogwart Legacy a male (=identify as male, the game has a weird way to mock the horrible homophobic views of the book writer) character is unable to enter the female side of the Griffindor dormitory because the stairs will disappear and make him slide down. This does NOT happen for a female.

(also, the female side is a lot better with a private bathroom...)

But the draining battery bit could easily be photoshopped if you shopped in the mech in the first place
