Am I missing something obvious or Gamefreak not only managed to keeping the old-style invisible items mechanic in the Pokemon Diamond/Pearl remakes (compared to the sparking spot from Sword/Shield) while upgrading to newer stuff for other mechanics (exp share given by default)...

They also made the Dowsing Machine even more annoying to use?

Can't keep it open since there is no second screen and game is paused every time you use it???
