I've just gotten into iOS development, and would love to develop some games, but need inspiration/support, all that stuff a great community gives you.
Does anyone know of a community to get involved with?
I just tried to install my old copy of Q3:TA on my new Win7 64 bit machine and was mercilessly denied by Windows itself. Wouldn't even let me try! Anyways, what else out there can offer Quake-like gameplay on a 64 bit box?
I'm trying to sign up for the Shoryuken forums to discuss Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and the registration page asks me who the final boss of Street Fighter IV is to prove I'm not a computer. I've never played that game, so I don't know the answer.

I'm must be (likely) interpreting this wrong, but it seems to me that you said something along the lines of, "Those who supported the closing, please support it 'here' and otherwise, unclose it"
Reopening is a very common process for closing. The ideal scenario is that closed questions get reopened, because that typically means the exposure of a better question.
Closures which lead to deletion mean we got low quality or off-topic questions. Even removed, it's preferable that we do not get low quality or off-topic questions. So, that's why the preferable scenario is that we get reopen-worthy questions. Because that indicates better question quality and on-topicness overall.
@GraceNote I don't mean to sound ungrateful or disrespectful (and please don't take it like that!), but I'm aware of all of that already, I just had a momentary (but common) lapse in faculties.
