I spent more time (and had a lot more fun) fussing with and playing with UT2004 mods and mutators than I ever did with the vanilla game.
Also, I once spent a half-hour trying to push a car out of a ditch in Far Cry 2 because there wasn't another vehicle anywhere nearby. I have a feeling the devs didn't mean for that to happen, but that feeling of inconvenience (and of victory, when I finally got it out) was surprisingly interesting.
I've been waiting for Legends of Pegasus. That game looks like it took the best parts of Space Empires, threw in some Fragile Allegiance, and mashed it all together into something awesome.

I swear at one point in time I installed a "Game Center" from the USC. I call it a game center because I don't remember what the app was actually called. But basically, it was an app that had it's own games repository and single handedly installed and launched games.
I forgot SharePoint's security isn't Windows security... :P
I do remember the issue that if a page is displaying anything in a web part that the user doesn't have access to, you'll get a "no access" for the whole page.
@IanPugsley And yet, you can integrate it into Active Directory. :P Stupid part is, Firefox is giving me 401 Unauthorized on certain bits, such as the logo, but I can still see it.
Also, could the page be inheriting permissions from a parent? That parent could be denying even though you explicitly allow.
@fbueckert Clear your browser cache, see if it makes a difference for those images.
If you're getting a 401 in the Firebug/Chrome/IE Network tab (or Fiddler, or whatever), you shouldn't be getting actual content back, so it's probably cached.
Or the other way around, you could be expecting it to inherit parent permissions and it isn't.
I've also seen that a custom branding solution (logos, etc.) doesn't have the proper permissions - you'll get "no access" errors because of that, and it makes sense that your logo would be getting a 401...

@IanPugsley Everything in the library is inheriting permissions from the library itself. And the basic user has two permissions there: Read, from the visitor group, and Restricted Read, from the Style Resource Readers group.
Not using Powershell for permissions. Mostly using it to get the stupid solutions installed and functioning properly.

That's...interesting. Cache cleared, Web Console up. Reload page, console shows 401 Unauthorized for files in the library, which includes the logo and the CSS file. Yet, the logo's still there, and the formatting from the CSS is being applied.
I imagine people installing dozens of mods blindly and going "WAT IS THIS" when playing, Googling, and finding your answer. Then I chuckle a thousand chuckles.

Alright, so I'm looking for Empty Bottles in LOZ: Wind Waker. From the beta i found that swtor had pretty god character story and thought it would make a great single player rpg, but I didn't want to pay sub for it
The simplified mechanics weren't the biggest problem, the blatantly recycled areas made it feel like I'm already replaying it for the third time while I wasn't even finished with the game. Then having always a second wave of enemies teleport into the fight killed the combat for me.

What I found very impressive was when I noticed in the Witcher 2 that the Endregas were actually visible climbing down from trees in the forest. That is how you put new enemies into the fight, not the cheating Bioware did.

Leveling smithing to 100 seems like a difficult task. Is it more effective to craft cheap things such as iron daggers, or to craft expensive items such as Elven weapons?
@Wipqozn I think it should probably be one question - the answer to "what's the best way to level smithing" should include why it's the best way, which should include how the leveling system actually works. Your question might need to be rephrased/broadened a little, but I don't think there needs to be two questions.
But to answer your question, no. The reason I'm asking is that I'm a little uncertain, and since it's my question, I want to double check in case I'm just being biased.

If you can't earn more than X gold in an hour of doing something other than gathering the materials, then yes, gathering them yourself is absolutely the most efficient way to do things.

it's not about taking time into account when calculating profits per se. it's just about the fact that you have a frictionless medium of exchange in the form of the auction house, that lets you convert gold to whatever item you need on demand any time.
So the best way to get lots of whatever you want as fast as possible, is to do whatever provides you with the most gold the fastest.
If I can farm 50 peacebloom or 50 dragonstail in an hour, and the peacebloom sell for 1 gold and the dragonstail sell for 10 gold, and I need peacebloom, only an idiot farms the peacebloom
But the person levelling herbalism isn't directly farming peacebloom. Which is the point.
@StrixVaria yes and no. It does to an extent, and some lower level markets are sky high as a result.
But the barrier to entry to those lower cost markets is lower - as @Blem notes, people levelling herbalism will end up with piles of peacebloom incidentally that they need to get rid of.
Beyond that, the demand for peacebloom is, in general, much lower than it is for dragonstail. So while the price of peacebloom might spike somewhat, as more and more people are farming dragonstail, demand is going to keep them somewhat seperated.
But you're right, market conditions can change. Todays idiot is tomorrows tycoon in that respect, and the guy farming peacebloom could be getting ready to make bank when the market turns that corner.
But the guy who buys up all the cheap peacebloom on the AH while spending his time farming dragonstail and selling it now rather than hoarding it would make even more money.
@StrixVaria beyond that, there are certain very high profit activities that are inherently rate limited, such as daily quests, which are among the most profitable things you can do.

@Wipqozn As someone who never played Skyrim, it looks like a dup to me (if other questions marked dup are any indication). Basically, its asking the same thing but referencing a particular version and asking if a particular combo works.
