I work on a HP Pavilion Dv8 or an Elitebook 8540.. And until recently I gamed on a DV.. but I can not remember the version number of that one (it had over heating issues though).

@James I like mine, but i hate the HP switchable graphics, cause it dont work! from everything ive read and seen, there seems to be two types of CCC, one which lets you select "fixed" for graphic, and one that dont. I have the one that dont, so if i try to update my Radeon with an AMD patch, it finds my intel card and wont update :(

@James While I was fixing my computer earlier this year, I had to use one that my uncle gave us for a few months. They come with lots of junk on them(although that's not really exclusive to HP), they have the shortest life average of any major laptop, and that touchpad was the worst.

@UQAllulloo Oh yeah that part is annoying.. the extra software. I pretty much always wipe them day one.. The last one I had though made it so you could not just install blank windows. I had to go through and hand uninstall and clean the drive.. That part was annoying.

@UQAllulloo I do have to say though, overall, very happy with my Sager laptop.. They are expensive but they are an awesome piece of tech and the guys over at Sager are very easy to talk to and work things out with custom requests and such.
