@Alok I know about EVE, and while there are some issues there, it's been a reasonably stable economy for a while. Some recent changes, among them mass-banning of botters have changed that. But I don't really understand how an economy like D3 is supposed to work long-term if no items are ever destroyed

@MadScientist Inflation tends to ensure you don't get your investment back once you're done with the item; after trying to sell it on the AH two or three times, you'll vendor/salvage it to free up the space.

@MadScientist Only gems are indestructible. Funnily enough, they also have no level reqs. - a potion has level reqs but the highest level gem can be socketed in lvl 20 socket item w/o changing level req >_<

@Alok Wizard, it was fun enough for a while. But the drops I got were just pretty boring and I couldn't sell them for any kind of money. Part of that is the annoying AH where you can't easily determine the actual price items are sold for, I found that just plain not fun.

Q: How do I register my Gamertag with BSN?

I created a BSN account, and attempted to register Mass Effect 3 with it so it could track my progress. It said it could fine any game data. I learned that I need to link my Xbox Gamertag to it so it can do so.

Of course, I got lucky; a friend from some other forums gave me a bunch of his hand-me-down gear; it had less total resist, but the DPS increase more than made up for it.

And the synergy between Sweeping Wind + Cyclone means my DPS is double or triple the displayed DPS in the paper doll.

Huh - it synergizes to that extent?? I use SW too (pretty sure its with cyclone as well), though its a pain getting it up for each fight when it dies after 6s

Each tornado adds 20% damage. It's not uncommon to have a half dozen tornadoes at the same time.

Which means the tornadoes by themselves are doing more damage than I am.

Q: How can I find Ore?

Q: What is the source for calling your characters "Toons"

I've seen that in games where a player has an "arsenal" of several characters and each time he plays with one of them, like MMORPGs and the Diablo series, people refer to their characters as "toons". What is the source for this term?

Like, you can select a cell, make the font 100 pt large, type in =NOW(), press Delete on some other cell once per second and watch hours fly by... animated

Q: How does the distribution of ores & chests change with world size?

When I compare a small world to a large world in Terraria, it feels like I find ores and chests more frequently in the small world. Are resources actually closer together in a small world? If so, what are the relative distributions for each world size?

@FAE I've got it for Xbox, plus the first round of DLC planes. I was right up at the top of the leaderboards on a bunch of the tracks when I stopped playing it, probably not any more.

I was in the top 10 of maybe half of them.

It's a very well done arcade racer so far. Controls are good, the AI isn't too rubberbandy, the powerups are good but not too crazy.

Just so everyone knows, Stone Wars is apparently available (AND FREE) for PC, and it's worth the download just for the music.

It's not a bad worms clone, but it's easier to play on mobile devices.

You can accept quests and things too. Things like transporting mail to other towns, helping people out, etc. And races. But you can't do any of them. The horse just walks off the screen, and a little timer pops up. When it runs out, he comes back.

But Stone Wars has one of my favourite video game soundtracks ever, you guys should check it out.

Q: Differences between the various versions of FF-X

There are atleast 2 distinct versions of Final Fantasy X; the International version which has Dark Aeons and (iirc) a revised sphere grid, and the US release. I'm not sure if the US release is same as the original Japanese one. How many different versions exist, and what are the gameplay differe...
