@Frank So a lot of recipes contain morph nodes. You can provide specific ingredients and turn the recipe into something else. Like Ingots have a recipe morph that allows you to create a sickle (harvesting tool) instead.

You used to be able to substitute ingredients in the recipe, and deviating generally meant you made something entirely new. It rewarded experimentation.

(Back when the system was much simpler, and it just called for specific items)

So Ryza's crafting system works like this: you start at a single node on a graph along with a certain number of ingredient uses. You spend uses to fill up nodes, unlocking more nodes as you go. Certain nodes can increase quality, add trait capacity, or add effects depending on how much you level them up.

Other nodes, recipe morphs, can transform your current recipe into another one. And you start over on that graph.

I could see a use case for recipe morphs to start with something low level and spend a lot of ingredients to move through multiple recipe morphs to collect a bunch of different traits.

Also, each ingredient has elemental alignments, some can have more than one alignment, as well as an elemental level. These alignments determine how much each ingredient can upgrade a node.

So a health flower always provides red/fire alignment, but sometimes the level can be 1 or sometimes it can be 0.

Instead of combining "Critical 1" and "Critical 2" to make a trait and combining that trait with "Critical 2" and "Critical 3" to make a "1HKO" trait, combined traits are leveled.

So "Critical 1" + "Critical 2" makes "Critical 3" and "Critical 3" + "Critical 1" makes "Critical 4", for example.

And it combines all the way up to 30.

I think a lot of bigger companies try to somewhat coordinate their halloween events in order to allow more people to visit their events. If everyone does it on the same day, people can only go to one event, but if companies randomly do the event in the week before, you end up with a lot more children and parents alike being able to partake in multiple events

Using items spends Core Charges.

I can't recall if these Core Charges recharge outside of battle, but I'm leaning towards no.

They definitely replenish on returning to your room/atelier.

Once you run out of Core Charges, you obviously can't use any more items.

But you can disable an item that you have set in return for replenishing Core Charges.

This item is disabled until you return to your room/atelier.

At the moment, it seems like everyone has at least one core to set. Ryza, being the alchemist, has three cores to begin with.

@Yuuki @Dragonrage So apparently there's an in-game quest for Senna similar to the Kha vs Rengar event. Not sure entirely what triggers it, but it sounds like it happens if there's a Senna with allied Lucian vs enemy Thresh, Senna has collected 100 mists, and Thresh has at least 30 souls. Senna/Lucian have to damage Thresh within 3 seconds of his death.

If Senna wins, she steals all the souls Thresh has collected and gains the corresponding AP/armor, and supposedly Thresh loses those souls entirely. O_O

It sounds a lot stronger than it actually is (on Senna at least). The strongest part is probably the range.

She doesn't get any AD per level, it all comes from mists. And she does 35% less damage on crits, so the extra crit chance isn't quite as impactful as it appears.

It also takes a good 25-30 minutes to stack that high
