Okay, so I'm having an issue where Skyrim SE is crashing every time I attempt to run the launcher. Most of the questions available currently answer issues involving mod errors (I do have had mods installed, though I don't think that's the issue).
The reason I don't think mods are the problem is ...
I just completed Assassins Creed 3 (the old one, not the Remastered version), but now I want to play the additional content missions The Tyranny of King Washington. I can't see from where to buy it, not available in Steam, neither UbiStore.
Is there a way how to add this additional content ?
So I say "new", but I've been out of the loop for a little bit.
I used to use a third party app called "Pokegenie" to appraise my Pokemon. This would give me a rough guide on how good the Pokemon is,based on their overall CP. Sometes it would be a range, like 10-15, until I levelled them up high...
Vivi is a black mage who was created just like all of the other black mages, but he looks and acts differently. In the beginning of the game, he even thinks he's human.
The Black Waltz can also talk like Vivi, but they look different than him. They are obviously of the same ilk, but why are they...
I want to install a save game, but I cant find the 'Profiles' folder.
I looked in \Documents\GTA V but there are only two folders there: 'User music' and 'Settings'. I can't find the 'Profiles' folder, where I should put my save file. Can anyone help me?
I'd never leave comp nor do I actually play it, I'm asking about a casual game!
Say I'm a kapkan but for whatever reason I need to leave the game after the round has started. I've placed all 5 of my traps, what will happen to those once I've left the match, do they stay up and potentially help m...
I've considered moving to AMD too. problem is that I'd need a new motherboard and cooler, and I would also need to somehow move over my windows install, though I understand that's less of an issue with a windows license linked to my Microsoft account
ISO 8601 Data elements and interchange formats – Information interchange – Representation of dates and times is an international standard covering the exchange of date- and time-related data. It was issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and was first published in 1988. The purpose of this standard is to provide an unambiguous and well-defined method of representing dates and times, so as to avoid misinterpretation of numeric representations of dates and times, particularly when data are transferred between countries with different conventions for writing numeric dates...
@Nzall I have power at home (out ~29 hours), but no internet. Just small puddles in the basement, and not near the troublesome window well (which was also filling up on Saturday, but drained relatively quickly after the rain stopped).
I have a PSN account from India in which I have a lot of trophies, but no games. I used to live in India, but recently moved to Germany.
I bought a new PS4 pro today in Germany and I was wondering whether I should keep using my Indian PSN account or create a new one? I don't want to lose any trop...
I mean ofc the Internet is somehow acting like a launcher ruins the entire game but from what I've heard its basically "More Borderlands 2" which is definitely a good thing
Like, a professional reviewer isn't going to give a game a bad mark because it released on an inferior platform, unless the inferiority of the platform causes the game itself to be substantially less enjoyable (like when Rayman Raving Rabbids had the Wii version badly ported over to the PC version and somehow failed to meaningfully change controls
@Jutschge There's a difference between "paying real money for in-game gambling of pointless skins" and "a game based on shooting things and collecting better loot"
@Jutschge I've read two so far, polygon and PC gamer who both said the action was good but the game was skating by on lot and shoot and that overall it's kind of weak
"More borderlands 2 with worse writing and some dated mechanics" pretty much
A little bit of water at the front of the house, not sure where it came in, but that's it. Window well was filling up, but water didn't make it into the basement from there.
@Elva I mean the Skins have existed in BL2 aswell (and in a lot of other games) they really don't have any impact on gameplay. And again I've never heard of any RNG MTX being implemented.
Now you could say "that's a slippery slope fallacy" but I point you to the entire triple-A game industry and say "Yeah, we've been slipping from this cliff for a while now"
Polygon gave it a mixed review. They said stability was an issue, but it was also a pre-release version they were reviewing. The writing is a bit bland, especially for the ethos of the series.
@SaintWacko I'm pretty sure there's still skins that drop normally. (I think I've even seen some drop in some gameplay footage) And again BL2 and TPS also had purchasable skins. (not sure about 1 though)
But again points at the AAA industry and for example fallout 3 in specific that can be changed
And also, you say they will drop normally. Sure, will they drop anywhere near as often? Games are balanced for people buying resources with real money if there's a shop, that's a thing that happens so often
Hey I have an Acer Swift 3 laptop with I7-8550U,8 gigs ram, and MX150(which I confirmed to be the more powerful version). I know this laptop isn't for gaming but I suppose it should be able to do some light games but no matter the game I always get frame drops. For example when I first started CS...
@Ash Because that simply is not in the human nature. Most humans tend to be inquisitive and curious, especially about things appealing to basic instincts: food, shelter, violence, procreation,...
I'm getting back into rs3 questing and I just committed a cardinal sin of working with secondary materials that are also edible, selecting "eat" instead of "use"
Essentially, supers don't have any body hair in that universe, but Sydney gets her powers from an artifact, not an innate ability, so she still has to do all of that work to get rid of body hair. So essentially, she's asking if she can pretend to shave using a pubic wig with no hair. The blonde and purple haired supers are the same person, with a shared consciousness between them. The dude is a martial arts pervert
I can recommend you to read it, it's one of the shorter webcomics to catch up on and it has some of the funniest I follow actively
@Yuuki yeah, but from what I understand, it's also part of the idea of "being superhuman", as in they do not need to worry about growing body hair and as such can wear whatever they want whenever they want without having to worry about shaving to look good for men.
@GnomeSlice It could also be something like "if a super is indestructible, then logically their body hair would also be indestructible, and thus they might not be able to shave at all"
we moved one of my teams services to a new cluster for better stability, etc, and are planning on scaling down the old cluster this week.
we have been informing everyone to update their address to point to our new cluster if they were calling us from within the cluster, however people havent been listening
so we should have a bunch of people yelling at us that are services are down this week, as we still have a bunch of traffic there
@Dragonrage That is why you let people not use references to physical hardware or logical units directly, but rather only through transparent proxies you can easily point to a different service
I have a question about how I can connect a command_block with a redstone lamp. What code do I use.
I tryning to make a tower of redstone lamps. Is it possible to activate one of them without activate another lamp with a command_block?
@GnomeSlice No, it's a choice between "either they're super hairy, or they're completely smooth", and if the choice is between those two, completely smooth makes a lot more sense from an artistic (easier to draw) an aesthetic (looks better and more natural) point
@InvaderSkoodge It does get somewhat better over time, but the artstyle never really bothered me
Note that the author also tends to include gratuitous amounts of fanservice, from most characters. In that respect, this particular artstyle in my opinion feels like it is meant to accentuate those moments, but it never gets raunchy or anything like that
user15026
More natural? how is completely smooth more natural?
@Ash correction: more natural than, like super hairy; More natural when viewed as a superhero comic (most superheroes in DC and Marvel also lack body hair, apart from some exceptions) as well
user15026
"More natural than like...super hairy" yeah, because people (ESPECIALLY women or people assumed to be women etc) spend a LOT OF TIME making sure they don't look that way.
Like, if you saw someone step through the door with extremely hairy legs and arms, you'd probably look at them like they're some sort of savage, to put it bluntly
Note: I'm talking about werewolf hairy here, not simply "I haven't shaved my legs in 3 months" hairy. Because if you take superheroes with indestructible hair to extreme conclusions, it makes somewhat sense that their hair wouldn't fall out naturally
user15026
@Nzall Can we just...stop having this conversation, please?
user15026
You're just digging a larger and larger hole, here.
@Unionhawk I like BL2 for the dumb humor, so I'm not too opposed to a bunch of simple low-brow in 3. But I hope that article is exaggerating the number of poop jokes, because those do get a bit old pretty quickly.
Co-op vs. Bots does not seem to be a popular game mode anymore, but it's one I enjoy. However, with the various setup options available (bot difficulty, bot AI, base location) there are dozens of permutations available, and each permutation, presumably, places you into a different queue.
Which ...
> t's stuck in the late '00s, when surface level vulgarity was enough to qualify as edgy—Borderlands 3 is seriously obsessed with turds—and when the series was first conceived. It's stuck in a time when memes lasted months rather than days, when referential humor was still a novelty and not exhausting, when you could point at something the slightest bit abnormal or gross and call it a joke. Simpler times, not necessarily better times.
So while it might not exactly be THAT bad, but it's definitely outdated comedy
@Nzall Can comedy (of any type) really every become "outdated"? Perhaps it's less popular, but People are still quoting Monty Python decades after their shows/movies came out.
But pretty much any type of humor, outside of truly vulgar stuff, has always been entertaining. Slapstick, toilet, "lol random" (a la Invader Zim) are all pretty low forms of humor in my opinion, but I still enjoy all of them.
And referential humor, aka memes, have been a thing probably just as long as toilet humor. Perhaps it's not as popular now due to the shorter attention span of the average internet goer, but I can't believe it's suddenly outdated.
@MageXy Let's face it, every artist whose art is remembered and celebrated gets that recognition because they were either pioneers or truly outstanding. Yes, some people have certain art styles they can enjoy no matter the quality, but if you want to release a AAA comedy game, your comedy best be AAA quality
@Nzall I did, I'm holding off my judgment on the game itself until I actually play it. Like I said in an earlier post, I'm hoping the amount of poop jokes is exaggerated because it is possible to overdo it.
I was more responding to the excerpt you posted, the main point of which was to say that the humor was outdated, which I disagree with. But I agree with the rest of the article, it's certainly possible to beat a joke to death so it's not funny anymore.
Part of their point is also that the game just doesn't do anything even remotely new. example from the review:
> A few quests: I collect brown rock specimens (poop) for a guy obsessed with brown rock specimens (poop), Claptrap needs help building a 'friend' who is clearly a feminine robot for his creepy private purposes, I plant dynamite in a massive poop dam to save a farm, I help a guy open a burger joint while he yells about burgers a lot, I help a guy escape from a porta-potty for a poop-spewing rocket launcher
Every single one of those quests has been done in World of Warcraft, even as recent as 5 years ago
@Nzall To be fair.. It's hard to find a quest that's not been done in WoW
There's a couple of thousand rn
Also the humour in Borderlands is one thing. You either like it or you don't. Personally I play it mostly because it's one of the few Loot&Shoot that actually have interesting weapons
@Jutschge partially true, but I've found from playing FFXIV a lot recently that even if your quests aren't original storywise, you can have the objectives be slightly different so that it's not just "go to this spot to automatically trigger an event". FFXIV has times when you need to emote at NPCs or even /say messages with specific words in chat
I don't know what's worse: that it's just proxying another function that outputs the same information, or that it's returning the opposite of what the function name says it returns.
I decided to try feeding an amiibo some spirits and noticed there's a trait I'm unsure about next to the type. The only values I can seem to make it are Light and Cool, depending on which spirit I pick.
What's the difference between these? Are there other options?
