Looking at the last patch for BLOPs (http://www.callofduty.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=313362) there seems to be a a reference to adjustments made to the ak74u - can anyone shed some light on what this is?
Some of the questions and answers I've been tidying up have sample screenshots where the images are hosted by third party sites such as ImageShack.
To guard against potential image rot in the future I've been downloading these then re-uploading them into the official Stack Overflow image store.

yeah, that definitely seems like a good option for self-hosting then, I can't see Dropbox disappearing suddenly either (or at least I hope not, it's a really nice service)
yeah, that's one of the benefits of putting it on somewhere public like imgur. If the whole service is going to go down or change their URL format or something, it's something you can deal with in bulk
but with individual accounts somewhere that lapse, there's not any easy way to notice, compensate, or recover when stuff disappears
I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that be the number of votes the nominees have doesn't go below 0.
Doing the maths the normal view should display -14 but instead it displays 0
Is this done on purpose or a bug?
Recently started playing Magicka and I've just started fighting "the snake boss"(2nd boss). Hes giving me a real tough time to be honest. Is there something specifically that needs to be done?
I've been treating it as a standard boss battle and searching for a decent opening to hit him. However...
I figured I'd go to my grave without knowing the answer to this, but is there any way to kill the dragon in the clouds on the Dark Side of Xeen in the top left corner of the map?
It's been a long time since I've played the game and I'm sure that's the only thing I've never done. I've been sans...
Playing Terran in my previous league I've beat a lot of other Terrans with Mega Rax strategy. In my implementation it looks like this:
10 Supply
11 Barrack
12 Refinery
14(or15) Barrack 2
in mean time (as resources allows) tech-lab for 1st barrack, reactors to other tech labs, research stim-pack...
One of our earliest questions for the game Magicka was: How do I hit the worm's weak point for massive damage at the end of Chapter 2?
Today, we received a similar one: Beating the snake boss in Magicka.
Pardoning the whole part where they decided to pick completely different animals to describ...
Could someone tell me more about the Valentine's Day version of Angry Birds: Seasons? I've only recently heard that it exists. What differentiates it from the other versions that are available?
@badp Which happens to be one of the reasons that I said a few days ago that I don't like Zelda: Phantom Hourglass or Zelda: Spirit Tracks as well as the GBA/GBC Zelda games.
@Powerlord So you want the 3DS, the whole point of which is the 3D, because games that do not really use 3D are exclusive to the 3DS, and you aren't even interested in the 3D bit.
I wonder if the 3DS virtual store will have Zelda: Four Swords in it... not necessarily for Four Swords, but the GBA version of Link to the Past is on the same cart. :D
The GBA version wasn't so bad, as you just needed 4 GBA-GBA cables... I forget if the system came with one or not, but I was thinking it did. Of course, you also needed the 4-player hub thingy.
@RonanForman It's a story of two holding companies who secretly control all the governments of the world, who are fighting each other for control through the actions of mercenaries... buy both companies are actually run by the same woman.
It has a different name color, though... dark green.
I had someone ask me why I used a Vita-Saw on the rare occasion that I play Medic... I told them "I suck at Medic!" and then pointed out at my first death after they asked that I died at 97% charge...
(Which was my first death as a Medic)
Since Vita-Saw lets you carry over 20% charge to your next life...
My major problem in TF2 is that my best classes are all support classes.
I've been trying to play Pyro more (particularly since by this point, I know the majority of Spy tricks and hiding spots) because I suck at Heavy and Soldier.
Demoman... eh, depends on the loadout.
I have found out that people don't expect Charging demos with the new sword, with the longer charge range. :D
Oh yeah, Degreaser plus Axtinguisher is definitely handy, since you can hit them with melee almost immediately. Doesn't work well on Scouts at all, though, since they can outrun you.
Not unless you can airblast them into a corner.
I don't know why, but today is going by insanely slow for me. :/
I know that it's probably unintended that the Primary voting scores were leaked by the API, but I think if you're going to remove it, then at least make it official, so I won't have to wonder if it's just a transient bug.
Anyway, some background: It's possible to collect the score and up/downvo...
Well, seeing that I don't currently have:
A desk
A chair other than my dining room chairs, or
A monitor larger than 19"
I thought I'd submit an application to StackApps to see if I could win something. (Worth a shot, right?)

Oh, right, I should also mention that Valve finished the class updates. All 9 have taken place, with the Engineers being last... which is likely why he doesn't have an item set yet.
And yes, I joined the adult version. You need a credit-card for the teen one, and it's easier to pretend to be an adult in a game than to a credit card company.
@SpencerRuport The Engineer items they added are interesting. One lets you take control of the sentry gun and where it fires... plus causes it to take 66% less damage (I think it's 66%...). One lets you build miniature sentries that build much faster and cost less metal, but can't be upgraded.
The last one is a new shotgun with only 3 bullets before reload, but when your sentry is destroyed, you get 2 critical shots for each kill it got and 1 for each assist, maxing out at 30.
Oh right, it doesn't normally crit, though.
Oh... and Engineers can pick up and move their own buildings now.
