Most of the ones I've killed before exploding, I've killed while they were off the screen via hungering arrow or whatever.

@OrigamiRobot You're just not noticing because they have like, 2 hp, so if you hit them they die and you are probably killing them while they are stuck in a clump.

@Wipqozn 3) I'm not a fan of Prep or Smoke Screen without higher level runes, but those are valid choices. I don't like giving up Vault or a better way to spend Hatred for them though at Act I NM.

@Wipqozn Having Bat Companion to improve Hatred regen will help a lot, as would switching to Elemental Arrow as your main right-click skill. Toss Multishot on a hotkey if you find you need it that badly. Particularly in Act 1 and 3, Frost Arrow is basically as good as Multishot if you're smart about positioning because you can always get enemies to funnel into a narrow space in front of you and frost arrow pierces and hits everything in a straight line.

Multishot really only feels 'important' to me in Act 2 in the big outdoor areas full of wasps, because the wide arc of fire means I don't have to worry about aiming as much and can focus more on projectile dodging.

(Eventually I just dropped it and swapped my hatred builder to Hungering Arrow to get a similar mindless killing effect.)

Q: When fabricating class weapons, is the chance to receive all weapons equal?

For example, when crafting a Demoman Slot token + Secondary Slot token + a scrap, the possible output is: Sticky Jumper Scottish Resistance Chargin' Targe Splendid Screen Is the chance to get any one of those four items equal? Or do some other weapons have a higher chance?

Q: Defending against the wasps in Act 2

What can I do to increase the defense against those damn wasps in the dessert of Act 2? I can have a bunch of enemies slashing me and my health barely goes down, but once the wasps start hitting me, it drains my health faster than anything in the game.
