@Wipqozn I don't think it does... the things to consider is do the same mantras stack, do different mantras stack, does the on-cast effects stack, and does the rune effect stack
Wouldn't it be better to have a separate question which deals with same-skill effects, such as runes, on-cast effects, and which one wins if multiple ones are stronger, etc?

I know the PvP aspect of D3 has yet to be released, but when it is, will Hardcore characters be able to compete (they don't have access to the real money auction house, so I was curious)? And if they are able to, if they die, will they be gone forever similar to campaign play?

@Rachel I do agree that the phrasing of the answer is better for folks that only care about Monk, but this is just my understanding of the dupe policy.

@agent86 Right. I'd love if all my friends were in chat/forum/whatever but some people either just don't like migrating or aren't into the new place or whatever. A lot of my guildmates I hang out with every day online, but they're just not into the website here.

@FAE yeah, at some point perhaps I'll figure out how to bridge this to IRC. I think it's mainly just a set of RSS feeds, but the authentication is weird and not at all documented

@Rachel Some of them feel like "Why should I use it when I can just google and get the answer?" and to an outside user, it seems like getting rep is the only "bonus" to use the site, and they don't care about rep. It's a game they don't care to play, essentially. :/

A lot of monks have been getting by using the Mantra of Healing with the Boon of Protection rune, especially in Hell and Inferno (though it seems to be less effective in Inferno Act II).
How has it changed and what is the impact on a Hell/Inferno Monk? Why is this change necessary?
