@GodEmperorDune if a site doesnt have a dark mode, i have to make/find a custom one for it if the background is a light color

otherwise it really hurts my eyes

like even just looking around on the site for a few minutes now is making my eyes hurt

@Dragonrage Maybe reduce the brightness of your monitor? For computers I always turn it way down, a reasonably good modern monitor gets quite bright. That brightness is nice for movies, but not for internet browsing

I just dropped my brightness to 30 and it's quite uncomfortable

I feel like it takes more effort to focus on stuff... and the fact that whites aren't white bothers me >.<

75 seems okay'ish, gonna try using it until I play a dark game again and need to turn all the brightness up and max out all the settings that make darks brighter...

i accept the fact that im weird. my eyes just seem to work a lot better with monitors if the brightness is low and the background is dark

@Chippies This probably depends a lot on ambient light. I have my monitor on 25%, my TV on something like 90%. A large white screen on the TV is almost blinding on the TV if the room is darkened, it's no issue on the monitor
