@Exeggutor That's because the game itself is based on a thoroughly unenjoyable concept (immigration bureaucracy), and the thing that makes the game playable is less the gameplay and more the stories that are told through the people that want to visit and the choices you need to make. Do you save the woman from the human trafficker or do you let him through, that sort of stuff

@Nzall Interestingly, I specifically had a ton of fun with the gameplay and didn't even pay attention to the story.

As I played through I followed the rules to the letter.

People's stories were secondary to me trying to be a good Arstotzkan.

@Exeggutor I mean, if you treat it as a puzzle game, it's definitely decent, but you have a number of stories that are told: the human trafficker, the terrorist, the bribes,... And in the meantime, you need to feed your family

@Ash I'm always hesitant when I see "Harvest Moon" in an article because of the split with Natsume and I never know whether the writer knows about it.
