@Unionhawk Thoughts; there were 3 'scenario' cards in the box, and '4' was the middle one. So I'm guessing 1&2 are not serious (or, at least, Rick is still in control or can fix things). Scenario 3 is probably similar to 4, but most of his memory is intact... Scenario 5 is probably "Rick is dead (maybe Morty too, but that's less important)"

The scenario we played involved an encounter with 'The Color Out of Space'

If you're not familiar, I can offer a short explaination.

Drunk fishermen out boating pull him on board, bring him to the docks, and they proceed to go party. Drinking, loud music, good times... The thing that he carries with him feeds off all these sensations and energies. And this vibrant color begins to glow and spread across him.. Most are oblivious to it.

The cats are in a panic. Their Tiger Dreamer knows 'Something Is Wrong' with this man and he is dangerous. So the cats had to inspect the boat and follow the man. There are props and clues at each scene to help them try to figure out how to solve this.
