be warned that once you start the campaign, it makes you hostile to the entire republic for a long time

so any missions/deliveries/etc to republic space are not happening

@fredley yeah these are chains of specific missions with named characters, not like the "take this wedding couple across the galaxy for cheap"

also one lady pulls a gun on you, you have to be calm and do what she says to pass her test

@fredley if you messed it up, you can go to save file and clear that mission failure so it reoccurs

and if you want spoilers, here is a full mission guide that explains everything

also if you want to capture ships, best way is to make sure your entire fleet only has heavy laser type weapons, because those instantly stop firing when the ship is disabled, while anything with projectiles could still destroy it from the in-flight shots

@fredley i also recommend getting a bactrian, filling it with crew and atomic engines. Get enough frag grenades and laser rifles to cover everyone

smaller ships you can overwhelm with numbers, larger ships you need the grenades to win the boarding battle

you can also roll with nerve gas, but i think you can get fined for having it

Hal-Con was good. Took a lot out of me, which is to be expected, but good. It's too bad some of the guests had to cancel, like James Marsters (Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer), but one of the panels (the Buffy on Trial "special event" panel) poked fun at him for that.
