Jesus Christ, I don't want to have to repeat my evening ever again. In my rush to leave work today, I forget to grab my house keys off my desk. They're on my desk because my RSA dongle is also on the keychain, and I need it to log into my work email. I don't realize until I get home that I've forgotten them.

It's a half hour drive into work.

And the gate that I would normally use closes at 6, 15 minutes after I get home. I got takeout, so I eat that on my back deck.

But, back at work, I have to go to the furthest gate to get in, and I can't drive in, I don't have a parking pass to park inside the fence. It's a 10 minute walk or so to get from the gate to the building with my desk.

It's at this point that I decide that I'll pick up some micro-brew, despite not having my growlers, seeing as how they're still locked inside the house. I pick up the beer (which I'm now drinking), and head in the direction of the closest bridge, forgetting that it's going to be closed for the weekend. I got to this side of the harbour with it, I'm thinking, so why wouldn't I be able to get back across. It's just closing while I'm sitting at the lights.

Which If I had actually realized, I would have been able to do something about to get me going in the proper direction, but I didn't.

So I start on a route completely different from normal, fuck up by not taking the first turn I should, but that's minor, barely costs me any time. The second time, though, I take a turn too early, which does cost me at least a few minutes.

So here I am, 2 hours later, venting to you guys about my shitty evening, all because I was a little rushed to get home.

@GodEmperorDune ok. No, they should be grown, but it would be nice to have more females (past 6 babies born here were males. Had 1 female before that) females = milk

@Ash haha. Though that is about the only point we haven't cooked the males (males + females = babies). So, they have 1 sole purpose : make babies. We have always let them be together (except when we were trying to help ween the batch of males)
