@FAE If it offends you, I'd just edit it. Easier to ask forgiveness than permission. And it's a lot easier to justify removing it than adding it back in :)
@Sterno It doesn't offend me, personally, but I was under the impression that while such language was appropriate for chat, we kind of wanted to discourage it in questions and answers proper.

Like I said, if you try to get community agreement to justify changing the language, you'll be waiting forever. Personally I think the site looks better without unnecessary cursing in the answer. I'm not going to go on a crusade to edit them out, but I don't think anyone has much ground to stand on if they get mad that a curse from one of their posts was edited out.

@Sterno I seem to remember that user posting a heavily downvoted answer on something, and I can't remember what it was. I mostly remember it because someone commented on the irony of the answer and their username.
