Windows 8 is the name of Microsoft’s new version of the operating system.

@James I don't know that we've come up with a plan for every possible contingency yet. I don't want to say what we'd do in a situation that hasn't come up... I'm pretty sure as the week drags on we'll have a clearer idea what the consensus is, and can come up with a plan.

Origin seems to recognise that I'd purchased NFS: Hot Pursuit on Steam, and is now giving me the option to download it. Is there a way, or is it possible, to install games in Origin that have been backed-up/downloaded via Steam?

you can look at all the code in your browser, as a matter of fact. I don't tend to minify or obfuscate.

@tiddy yeah, I have to do a bunch of finagling to get those numbers. I ask the API for questions and answers within a certain vote threshold created after a certain time, and then I have to filter the results for the correct tag. I have to do 2 queries for answers, since I can't get tags on answers - I have to ask for the answers and then ask for the questions, and then filter by tags. whew.

luckily, I've done most of that before, so it's just a matter of looking at what I did before and doing some tearing apart and some gluing together.
