I dunno a whole lot about billing, but for a simple logo design for a company, I'd charge probably... $300 at my current level. Maybe go down to $200, depending on the client's budget.

VitalFM was looking for some after effects work, and I got discussing it with them via email, but once I sent them my quote they stopped responding. I'm guessing they were expecting to get the job done for like $50 or something.

It's strange though, their current video templates aren't really that bad. They're better than most of the other similar channels' like UKF's.

And UKF is the one they were comparing it to in their email to me. UKF's templates aren't even very good...
