Yeah. I was working on a 401k sign-up site and saw similar statistics on page load plus overall sign-up length. People drop fast. Even if it costs them money
They spent about half a million for us to redesign their existing process just because their old one was slow and cumbersome and most users just said "Fuck it" and gave up after a couple minuts
@Wipqozn going to have to bookmark that for later, been having an argument with a markerting person that thinks 45 seconds is a perfectly fine loading time for his attempt at a website.
@RedRiderX on my old Samsung Galaxy S+, I've recently started getting a popup during a downloaded video saying that Google Play Services has stopped working
so not even online on a webpage where ads may interfere, just while watching something stored locally
I'd like to take a moment to complain to everyone about how when you get an iPhone, it automatically adds the signature "Sent from my iPhone" to all your emails until you dig into settings and disable it. That's just a dick move, Apple.
They're essentially putting ads in the email of the eleventy billion people who don't know how to disable it, and no one seems to get mad at them about it.
@MBraedley TELL ME SIR. Any interest in going to an escape room in sackville tonight? My buddies nd I are looking for a fourth since one of our friends had to back out.
@Sterno IT wouldn't be that hard to find out based on the information included in my above link combined with knowledge of where I live which you can find via facebook
@KevinvanderVelden didn't even qualify it with an area. Pretty sure there's an escape room in Sackville, New Brunswick, to say nothing of other Sackvilles
@Wipqozn My mother says like once a week "2017 will have Putin, Trump and Erdogan, the world will end", after which I usually say "Erdogan really is not in the same league as Putin and Trump"
@KevinvanderVelden Email as a protocol is the worst, but Inbox is a pretty nice UI for it, so if you're not doing the coding part of it it's not so bad.
The thing about email is that, although it's shit in a lot of ways, you can build whatever you want on top of it, and it will never go away. Can't do that with WhatsApp/Twitter/Facebook Messenger/whatever. You totally hand over control.
@fredley Yes, I agree that we need more (open) protocols rather than services. But using open protocols means your service won't be as profitable, since you can't force people to use your service.
at is an ambassador of goodwill? A goodwill ambassador is a person who advocates for a specific cause (e.g. a country or an organisation) on the basis of their notability.
@sequoiad that can be circumvented. I'm not sure about other google places, but Youtube definitely allows you to post comments with your made up nickname, rather than your real name
@sequoiad Fair enough, but it is a google service, so it doesn't surprise me that you have to use their service (google search) to find out how to do it :P
Although, considering the last rumblings I've heard about Stargate involve a sequel to the original movie that screws/ignores the SG-1 continuity... yeah, screw MacGyver.
I've made it to level 100 on lockpicking but I have not attributed any points what so ever to the skill. If I go legendary it will reset me to 15 but will I get any points out of it to use on another skill?
i just downloaded GTA V Repack by Corepack. I had to wait 7-8 hours to install it. After copying crack files, when i launch it, it shows me this error in the loading screen:
i searched the internet for a really long time but couldn't find a solution.
Please help. Thanks in advance.
@Wipqozn Bunch of the people in the image either are in Congressional hearings for being an amoral f--k (John Stumpf) or they're supporting and donating a lot of money to Donald Trump (Peter Thiel).
John Stumpf is CEO of Wells Fargo and Peter Thiel has been rumored to be Trump's nominee for the Supreme Court despite his only experience being about one year as a judicial clerk.
I'm sure he's a smart guy. I just want my Supreme Court justices to have some more substantial judicial experience.
Farscape is one of those shows where you start watching, recommend it to all your friends halfway through, keep watching, and then regret ever having recommended it to anyone.
I just tried googling "farscape granny paint-shaker orgasm" hoping to find a terrible scene in season 4 that convinced me it was time to stop watching, but the clip didn't turn up, and I never should have googled that from work
I'm trying to make a Spider to drop only certain items without it normal drops of string and eyes but nothing i do works, i've tried unluck effects changing gamerules like entitydrop and mobloot but i still get them, this is the command i'm using.

It was a long time ago when I was just a little kid, but I remember visiting my Aunt's house where they had an NES. They also had the classic Super Mario Bros.
Once while I was playing the game, my Aunt showed me the notorious Life Cheat. I remember after letting the cheat work its magic for...
@StrixVaria I didn't find it that bad, but you're right, I do tend to enjoy those types of games
Honestly, unless the combat is really tough, I get bored of most RPGs. It's why I struggle to get through JRPG type games, since tough is usually defined by "grind some more"
I'm not sure what difficulty curve I would even prefer in an RPG anymore. If the combat is hard enough that I have to try encounters multiple times, I get frustrated. If the combat is easy enough that I'm not challenged, I get bored. Both are bad.
I like Disgaea 5 because it's not about "do you win or lose" so much as it is about how creative you can be with how you win.

@TimStone Again, why does the game need to be able to do that? Is it streaming commands directly from a server or something? Because that would be, you know, bad.
Does anybody know if there is already something like that available or soon to be buyable? I found a Watchdogs 1 hackerbag - but this one here of WD2 looks wayyyyy cooler!
I'm buying a wii U with a gamepad, and i have money leftover to buy a wii remote alongside it, which i was going to do, but then i read somewhere that i need TWO wii remotes to play multiplayer on the wiiu.
Is that true? I'm mostly interested in play super smash bros, but things like mario kart...
