@Ash In Belgium there is a zero tolerance for playing the game in one town. (because it's a town of 30 people who got thousands upon thousands of people playing pokemon on the street 24/7.

Apparently it was full of rare pokemon. And they kept getting swarmed by players day and night.

@Arperum Seriously? how does a small town like that get loads of rare pokemon? If I go anywhere near the outside of the city there's NOTHING for hundreds of kilometers... (there's like 4 small towns between the city and my cabin, and there's zilch spawning)

@TrentHawkins it depends on traffic, so if the town is near a busy autobahn or whatever, it kinda makes sense

@arda I have to take one of the busiest highways in the province (Probably third - after the Trans-Canada, and the Highway south to the border crossing). Although, to be somewhat fair, there is a SINGLE spawn location at the beach (though the rarest I've seen is a venonat from it)

I was trying to build up a gym's prestige to deposit a pokemon earlier today, then some little kid comes by and starts attacking the gym. I don't think he had many strong pokemon, but he was able to lower the prestige faster than I could raise it. So I walked away and let the kid have his fun.

@arda My decision to GTFO wasn't entirely altruistic. The bottom two slots of the gym were a CP230 squirtle and a CP750 fearow - so, he probably could have taken down the gym eventually. Slowing his progress down would just cost me potions, and I didn't want to waste battery power waiting for him to take it and leave.
