Q: My X-01 power armor keeps appearing in different parts of my settlement but i dont have any settlers

@ash make sure to upgrade your skill capacity before you actually hit the skill cap. not 100% but it looks like any increases over the skill cap (from buildings that give +2 to everyone, for example) are lost

i think they implemented the stat boosts in a lazy way (+2 to everyone goes through all your survivors' relevant stats and increments them by 2 rather than set a flag or something and recalculate it when the capacity increases). I might science this next time i buy a new guy

and see if the old bonuses apply to the new survivor

also @ash the social benefits so far have been a new zone to explore (named friend, 1k explore, 1 hour per expedition) random events in there tend to give a bunch of resources

Q: Where do I find thread?

I need thread to upgrade my storage, but so far none of my map locations have it. I know it is something that I find (the tooltip says to search prior locations), but all my prior locations I have so far don't list it as something I can find there. Where can I find thread?

Dunno if it is installable without installing full VS suite, but it is extremely fast and has great support to change some stuff (like onboard gps spoofing, custom device gyro data, custom battery level, connection status etc etc, more developmentish stuff, but well, it is pretty fast and that is why I prefer it)

hmm, i think the bonus stats from events do affect he survivors that haven't joined yet. I got a +10 HP boost and all of the survivors in the buy menu have HP that is not quite topped off...
