Your starter pokemon become useless immediately when you level up and catch stronger pokemon. Does picking a starter pokemon give you some kind of bonus at some things? Or is it just an irrelevant tutorial thing?

Fallout Shelter recently added melee / hand-to-hand weapons to the game. How do SPECIAL stats enhance hand-to-hand attacks as opposed to SPECIAL attributes enhancing ranged weapon (gun) attacks? Is there a difference, and if so, what is it?

Since stardust seems to be the limiting factor in how much you can improve your pokemon, I wanted to know the most efficient way to use stardust. I'm guessing if I use it on improving the average pokemon I have, like Pidgeot, I may not have enough later on to improve a Dragonite when I catch on...

I realize the stardust amount changes by the CP of the pokemon, and maybe its trainer level? I would love to see a table which shows stardust a pokemon needs at various CP levels.

I'm particularly interested in increasing the chance of them appearing in my house. Incidentally, does the altitude of the location matter at all?
