@Yuuki i think getting taxed for law enforcement and such is fine, but if you are taking the money i worked for to give to other people, that doesnt sit well with a lot of people
plus in many cases it is cheaper for the government to do something for everyone rather than have the administrative overhead of tracking and charging everyone individually
You think you're just bashing numbers together and suddenly you have a 7-stage hadoop job that takes 2,482 computer years on a multibillion dollar cluster
(the results of which a single instance of mysql would probably have computed in maybe 12 seconds flat)
@crayzeedude I have zero idea how unity will be like, but afaik you can run and place Windows Store apps all around you, but in 2d. Fun for watching TV etc.
I didn't try the HoloLens yet, but here are two things that aren't that known to the public about it: 1) -CANTSAYNDA- 2) It handles your head better than other VR goggles, so the AR feels more real.
@GodEmperorDune I can tell you "People tried and liked it" and you'll not feel like it is a good answer. A good answer requires me to tell a internal story-ish thing, which is probably under my NDA, even if it isn't it, it'd be rude.
Arguing people are using their close votes as super downvotes is a strawman argument. If we can just abandon that entire line of thinking, we'll be better off for it.
Further reasons why EE is ridiculous on servers: over the span of less than a week with minimal effort and no planning, I now have a full set of Gem Armor and the Red Matter Katar and Morningstar.
I started my venture with one collector, one glowstone, 1 anti-matter relay, and 1 condenser all Mk. 1 (my friend recently decided to add EE after I had gotten max-tier in Thaumcraft and stuff). Less than five days later, I'm max-tier EE and as a result probably max-tier in everything else.
Within a day, I had a setup for 6 Mk. 3 collectors, 1 Mk. 3 relay, and 1 Mk. 2 condenser.
@Unionhawk So a better way to balance EE would be to remove automation interaction (I think Immersive Engineering has it with the Crude Blast Furnace so it's definitely possible) along with the collectors then.
Because I honestly like the idea of EE (being able to convert useless blocks into "energy" that you can use to make other blocks in case you suck at RNG). I just despise the execution.
i used to play minecraft and i would always build my houses underground in caves. I would have secret rooms i used for enchanting and such and hiding my valuables. i also generally built them near mob spawners
i would then make the spawner into an experience farm
I have an automatic system for several tipe of combs I want to procces. But I need to know which combs produce beeswax because I need to sort them out of the system.
Which combs produce beeswax?
I sent another email saying there appears to be a miscommunication, I'm just hoping to find things out like salary/compensation/etc before I make any sort of commitment
@GnomeSlice Sorry I missed your Rocket League invite! I wouldn't have been able to play anyway. For whatever reason, my WiFi decided to be complete shit.
Maybe I'm looking at this wrong but at my current job this is the first major project I'm actually seeing to fruition. I've told them that I want to ensure this project has a smooth transition, and unfortunately that's taking a while as my bosses have been difficult to get in touch with
I haven't officially committed and I can't really give them a start date other than April 1st at the latest (after my job officially runs out of funds)
@twobugs The commitment is when you sign the contract that contains all the details. Before that you can at best indicate that you're seriously interested, you can't commit without knowing the rest, and they can't make you do that
The Blu-ray set for Force Awakens has a tentative release date in April so it's possible that we can watch the new Star Wars movie (I already have it on pre-order in Google Play).
February had some great attendance and some nice conversation during the movie, let's hope that will carry into April. Remember, you have the whole month to vote on scheduling and movie selection since Movie Night isn't until April.

The more starbait you read, the less starbait effects you. You slowly build up a resistance to starbait, and people must try harder to actually bait you into staring things.
