@Frank no, its not it. Nexus has mind to mind communication, this book doesn't. The IRS came after me one year before I started working because I didn't file, but had capital gains income from a fund my dad had turned over to me to help pay for college.

I owed $75

The penalty for not filing was more than that

The funny part was that I had noted that the account had a net loss for the year, which is why I hadn't filed

I had to call them and have them send me the copies of what they had that made them think I owed so I could file

On top of the full tax booklet and everything else they sent me
