I had never played WoW until October-November last year.

I grinded a Blood Elf mage from 1 to 40. Then cashed in my token for a free level 90 and tried the end game out a bit.

And then I was done with it.

@murgatroid99 Oh yeah, if he was banned it would be an obvious retaliation. Still, making threats is not classy. Classier would be to announce that the investment would remain regardless of the debate's outcome (insider tip: there's no way in hell they're banning him). He'd look like a good guy. However since his image is based on being an asshole to everyone, maybe he doesn't want to try and look good.
