Q: Skyrim + Steam Issue

i just tried to Run Skyrim and once the splash screen appears,and i hit "Play", the flash screen blinks and pops up again. Nothing happens,the game does not open ( i am running steam as Administrator,because if i dont,the same thing happens but with a little difference,after the splash screen van...

Q: Best RPG game that can still be found?

I like to think that the best RPG ever made was Xenogears for the PS1, actually it got me hooked on that genre. What is one of the best RPG's out there now, old or current, that can be found and for what system? I have started Skyrim but don't always have access to my computer to play it.
