But yeah, anyway, I guess I should have considered that you can simplify 2^(5/2) to 2^(2/2)*2^(3/2) which them simplifies the entire equation to 2(2^(3/2)) - 1(2^)3/2) and you can then subtract 2-1 and end up with 2^(3/2)

@Wipqozn Looking through some "XBox 360 HD" walkthroughs, and the engine might have some better draw distance, the LoD is definitively better, but that's about it. Most of the objects in game are different, but not better than in Oblivion. Some places lack even faked AO (not to mention the total lack of real AO). Animations still look as stiff as in Oblivion, with NPCs sliding around and so on.

They have a nice water shader, but it isn't better than the one from the OBGE project. Water looks about the same as up-to-date modded Morrowind water.

I sure hope the quest and scripting engine is vastly improved, because the graphics aren't. :)

Look about the same quality as Fallout 3, with people standing around stiffly while discussing the end of the world, NPCs sliding into position after they found themselves a foot too far to the right of where the next animation should be playing, animations not blending fluidly if they blend at all (leading to "skipping"), kids having the same basic animation for actions as adults, and NPCs floating some inches above ground as often as they sink into it.

Oh right, I forgot to mention this. OK, it turns out that the master version of the database for the new version of the department's flagship application isn't stored on the Dev, UAT, or Production servers... but on a VM that has no primary backup except VM snapshots.

You can't logon with the same steam account twice and you need steam to play. the only "legal" way is to buy a copy for everyone who wants to play. PS: there might be cracks out there that allow you to do this (didn't check that) - but even if so, you'll have to find them on your own because tho...
