@GnomeSlice "Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot" (Charlie Chaplin). Laugh and smile and enjoy what little you have left of it. You only get one chance.
I had my village connected to google plus, but I seem to have lost that village when my google account was signed into my friends Android phone, he then transferred his village from iPhone to Android (still while signed into my google plus account) so now when I've gone back to my village, but it...
The fun part was that at that client I was basically hidden in some corner behind my screens, so if their customers came in, they could barely see me anyway.
Except for the couple meetings I had to do with some higher ups from a multinational company, those I was pretty damn visible. In a bandshirt. Because that's just me.
The promise is of a library stocked with thousands of non-IAP games from popular developers. But it sounds far too good to be true.
Is there any catch at all?
When I played Lollipop Chainsaw, I figured out the there were many upskirt moments. There is also an achievement for looking under Juliet's skirt by "accident".
What is the best way to do that? Will there be a punishment of some sort if I look under this cheerleader's skirt?
> Can't say that this is the place for this kind of thing. Game identification is permitted here with a valid screenshot of a game, but if you don't know the actual source of the game, I'm sure this will be closed eventually. – Tim S. 12 hours ago
Unless I'm reading that comment wrong, it says game identification with a screenshot is only allowed if you already know what game the screenshot is for
I played Avengers Alliance on Facebook for a long time (though it's been a little more than a year) and had made a bunch of progress and unlocked a fair number of heroes.
I recently decided I wanted to play again, so I downloaded the game onto my phone. Unfortunately, I can't find an option that...
> Just the other day we saw a TSA employee post a picture of the (physical) TSA master keys to luggage locks on Twitter, so those are now all compromised.
> Overall, the picture is grim indeed. Out of 5.5 million female accounts, roughly zero percent had ever shown any kind of activity at all, after the day they were created.
To be fair, the article has a heteronormative bias, despite it coming out that some people used it for homosexual encounters, but overall, yeah, it's pretty insane
Also, did anyone link that the ashley madison site looks like it probably was mostly a scam all along: http://boingboing.net/2015/08/26/ashley-madison-looks-like-it-w.html
re: other news, I still think the media should be required by law, when reporting on a mass shooter, to prefix their name with "The Dickless Coward, <insert name here>"
Then, and only then, can they talk about them, their manifesto, or post their images
@Sterno I think I've decided to never watch that footage. I regretted watching the footage of the lady saving her son from an escalator but then getting dragged in herself.
@Sterno part of me wants to vote to undelete. This is another stupid case of "a comment can end up being a super close vote" which is stupid. But part of me doesn't care.
I want to have a redstone timer that has a signal into a command block, with "/execute @a ~ ~ ~ testforblocks " and then a compartor, testing if a structure 1 X away from the player (I may make it 2) is the same as a structure I built somewhere else. (A chest with a sign on top of it reading "[...
lately I've been noticing an issue while playing CS:GO that feels like mouse acceleration. Not sure if this is a new issue or if I've never noticed, but my view seems to move slightly further when I move the mouse fast compared to moving the mouse slow.
Here's ...
A few days ago I wanted to see if I could change the color of my name so that's what I did then I tryed joining my bros game but it said invalid name so I took off my name and tryed typing something else but it wouldn't even show any letters or any thing so I tryed to see if it would let me type ...
There are lots of mass shooting incidents that aren't talked about, but if we made the big ones into less of a media event, I think that would probably help. I imagine the infamy those shooters attract inspires at least some of the others.
It's a complex issue though, with no easy solution.
I definitely didn't realize there are THAT many mass shootings, re:@Wipqozn
But in people's minds, there is a definitely a difference between criminal-types shooting the shit out of each other and random people going about their day getting shot.
Example: Australia implemented a gun buyback program, and then gun control
@Sterno True, but it's still disturbingly high.
I've seen varying estimates, but some posited that there are already like 300 million guns in circulation in the US (that's on the extreme high end of estimates, from what I remember)
Even then, the article even states that cities with stricter gun control laws aren't actually seeing a benefit to it (or, if they are, they're still terrible, terrible areas)
I mean, the fundamental problem is that America is full of people who hate each other. And themselves.
Yeah. Gun control alone (that is, laws prohibiting or restricting the legal sales of guns) is not enough to solve the problem.
I appreciate when APIs have tutorials showing off their basic features with comments. I really do. But please, provide accurate code for these tutorials.
@KevinvanderVelden I've never known a woman who expressed that she felt insulted by me calling a man dickless (not that it is typically an insult I would sling). I suspect that one feeling insulted by that is probably looking for a reason to feel insulted, as they're not taking an insult to a completely different person literally, then dissecting it and applying logic (if they don't have a dick, and I don't have a dick, is he insulting me too?). They're working pretty hard to get offended.
I don't know. I can apologize for using the word in here, because it's not a polite thing to say, but I'm not willing enough to go down the PC rabbit hole to feel misogynist for saying it.
(yes, I realize I might be misogynist even if I don't think so in this case)
I have a question about Conway's Game of Life's gameplay, but I can't seem to find an appropiate tag for it.
I was looking for game-of-life or something similar, but there is none.
What would be the most suited tag for such question?
So, I've run into quite an interesting problem. I started up my laptop on the way to school this morning and decided to watch a replay that was saved last night. However, when I tried to open the replay file, the client window flashed open for a fraction of a second and closed.
After several reb...
@djsmiley2k I'm not going to give you hate, I need all the hate I have for the former employee who fucked stuff up. ALso, some leftover for past-me from two years ago. That guy was dumb.
@glidud, unless the post is a community wiki, it is not acceptable to add information, unless it is yours. Post your addition as a comment, for OP to add, or add it as your own answer. — Timelord641 hour ago
@Yuuki I'd be interested in that... also how well it would work. I mean, KSP can bring my system to it's knees if I add enough rockets (and I routinely do)...
@GodEmperorDune Not for list answers, adding something is generally unproblematic there. You shouldn't edit an answer in a way that significantly changes or contradicts the original, but adding another point to a list is a good idea
@GodEmperorDune It's a fine line - generally you don't add stuff to people's answers. In this case, though, the additional point was added as a comment over a week ago and the OP hasn't updated their answer, so I don't have a huge problem with it getting rolled in.
@Timelord64 In this case, the edit doesn't deviate from the intent of the post in any way, and is minor enough to be acceptable. The idea that one should copy this entire post but add one little point in your own answer is ridiculous, and is likely to get your new answer automatically flagged as a duplicate answer and deleted. — Unionhawk19 secs ago
