made me ask my self: What would prevent me from just buying 1 time a set of lunchboxes and duplicating the save file to spread out to friends or retry untill my lunchbox outcome is what i expect as worthy?
@PrivatePansy I don't know, I haven't played Fallout shelter. If you launch a human into space with a rocketlauncher, I'd say it sounds like you could call it that.
@GnomeSlice Yeah, it changes Tuesday. It's worth doing because it grants you a 25% exp and reputation gain for the rest of the week (particularly good with Iron Banner)
@GnomeSlice I like it, I use it for anything I want to do if my friends aren't on. I've made a few friends recently who play a lot though so it's less of an issue (although I did meet them through LFG...)

I was told to show up to the school at 7:00 for set up, Faculty group shot at 8:00. My manager told me he'd meet me there. At 7:20, I still don't see him. I text him. He texts back "Oh, Nick should be there instead, I can't make it." (one of my coworkers). My manager must look at the clock and then he calls me. "Isn't it 7:30?" I say yes. "And Nick isn't there?!" I tell him I don't see his car. Now mind you, I'll still training
@Yuuki That reminds me of some essay I had to write once because I got into a fight with some stupid kid that kept bullying me. I had to fill three pages or something ridiculous with why I had hit him. It resulting in me listing three pages of reasons all formatted like "I hit X because reason." With reasons like "he's an annoying brat"
and so my manager calls me and apologizes profusely. He says "I know you don't like this kind of stuff" (talking about lack of communication which I've already had a conversation about with him)
and I tell him that NO ONE likes "this kind of stuff"
so he asks me if it will make it up to me if he pays me the training rate for today even though I was only there for 45 mins. I say okay. Because that means I got paid 85 dollars to sit in traffic and sit in a parking lot
My company is trying to put up a Little Free Library and has spent months dealing with trying to get permits and jump through other bureaucratic hoops for it
Last week my manager said "please oh please give me one more week" after I tried to quit and swore it would be better and then this happens. I'm starting to think it's just him. I don't understand how he can have 20 years in the business, 10 as a manager and screw up so profoundly with communicating. And he only has 3 employees. He just added to more to his team. They are in training now. I have no idea how in the hell he'll manage
I don't know about this. I feel like I've already invested so much time/effort at this point that quitting would be irritating. But I'm also the kind of person who just sticks with something because conflict sucks and I don't want to look back in ten years and still be at this job lol

In Rock Band 3 song "Love struck baby", how do I get a higher score for the "improvise (solo)" part? I kept the highest multiplier during the entire song and played 100% flawless. I tried 3 different things during the solo part to make the best score (like adding double base) but the score stayed...

@twobugs Yes, the answer is that you have to use the correct "path" (i.e. hit the last green note on the correct fills, this isn't always the soonest one depending on whether there's a really dense section of notes) and that you can actually get bonus points by hitting an invisible note at the same time as the final green note of the fill, if you have memorized what that note is.
I have no experience with either of these insturments, but I know how to produce a lot of decibels with my voice. And sometimes these decibels even sound like they can hold a tone.

... instead of checking for null, this bloody moron decided to wrap the line of code in a try catch block to catch the InvalidOperationException that would cause. and do the thing you want when your value is null in the catch block.
ALL BECAUSE HE HAS A bool? value coming from the DB (why you would want a nullable boolean in your DB is beyond me if this whole thing is aimed at casting it to a normal boolean.
