Usually they specialize in 1 game, and learn the tricks. There are lots of cool sties for each kind of speed-running. But it's a lot of time. Usually they will spend several hours on tricks, learning them

SGDQ usually does a shout-out to speed running sites where you can learn how to do it yourself :)

They use glitches to exploit holes in the game which allow them to finish quickly and avoid requirements that normally require you to go through the game in a specific way

It's a glitch where you do parries a certain way and you essentially activate noclip.

It's not the exact same thing as noclip but it's close.

I know you can get from the front of Drangleic Castle into the Throne of Want without the King's Ring with parrywalking.
