@StrixVaria I figure that even if something loses it's interest, it's a throw back to something I really loved and will remind me of a time in my life that I loved that thing. Also I try to pick stuff that has actual meaning. Like, yeah, my latest is Avatar related but it's also the elements which symbolizes balance. And it looks hella cool. I figure even if I don't like Avatar 30 years from now, I'll still appreciate the idea
and if not, there will be hella good lasers by then so whatev
I won't regret them. If someone asks me about it decades from now I will say, "Let me tell you a story about a nerdy twenty-something girl." and I'll be that annoying old lady that loves to talk about my past
@djsmiley2k hahaha I used to be that way but I'm an artist an honestly, I will never work in the corporate world, so wherever I want it, there it will go.
@djsmiley2k yup, some of it was tingly in a good way. Though my fingers went numb early on which was weird and annoying for 2.5 hours.
my first one was on the right side of my right forearm. I love it. It's a small script. Concealable with long sleeves though Kat Von D makes a hella good tat concealer that conceals the shit of ink
@MattGiltaji yup :)
The husband will have to help. I can't reach it at all lol
Reading the version control section of this maintenance plan doc is making me really wish we had switched to git or mercurial 1-2 years ago. It's talking about making branches! In SVN!
@JasonBerkan I've had some success with merging a branch back into the trunk in the past, but it's always been more painful than it should have been. And this was also in relative isolation, touching only a small part of the code base.
@djsmiley2k My hope is that I'll only be 50% (if that) on the project when the time comes to do this sort of thing.
> This subversion tool is a versioning and revision control system that keeps track of the history of all changes performed on the <project> development files used to build all <project> applications.
@JasonBerkan In the previous branch merges I've done, I've had to approve all files that require a merge, even if the auto merge did the right thing, which happened most of the time. I rarely had any actual conflicts.
@JasonBerkan It sounds like you have multiple people working on the same parts of the same files at the same time. Which generally sounds like a bad idea
@murgatroid99 This is generally also a sign of well-designed, modular code. If the code base is in a worse state, splitting up team member responsibility gets...impossible.
@StrixVaria It seems to me, though, that you should at least be able to not have 2 people modifying the same line of code at the same time. With merge conflict resolution, it's probably not even more efficient than making the changes sequentially
@murgatroid99 The combination of poorly designed code and medium-to-larger-sized teams makes it logistically very difficult to avoid this in some cases.
Say two software projects are interacting. Project A introduces breaking changes on February 1st, but those are considered a bug. As a result, people working on Project B are told to stop updating — of course, however, it's already too late.
Well, I'm in team B. If we were using a... traditional...
@badp No merging needs to be done right now (although I did start a branch about a couple of months ago that will need to be merged in at some point), so I'm not too concerned. It's all the down the road stuff (and current stuff) that would have been orders of magnitude easier had we switched to a DVCS at the beginning of this dev cycle.
I play Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Survival Server a lot, and many people seem to know the location of glitched loot or Topachula attack helicopters(The ones with missiles and miniguns) Anyone who could help me with this will be greatly appreciated.
Xtra points: How do I use a Stash Hacker in that ...
@badp That's what my working directory is right now. I have a separate checkout for the other branch. But I'm not allowed to merge the branch back because of reasons (some of which are legitimate).
I don't know how stuff like that is done, because I can't even imagine what an upgrade for my wizard would look like, and I haven't really tried much over T4. I could probably do T5.
And no other character of mine, despite hundreds of hours of playtime, is even half as strong as the wizard.
So I started playing this game again recently having picked up some of the DLCs and I'm currently doing an anarchy mechromancer. From doing some reading it looks like the best gun to use is a redundant fibber, but what is the best shield for the build?
I'd be happy if they reintroduced the AH for gems, dyes, and crafting material. Hell, transmog unlocks would be cool too, although I don't know how they'd manage that.
@djsmiley2k You usually want to have Guard or Evade on every set. Beyond that, one strong physical attacker, and one magical give you a pretty good spread.
> "Ring of Becoming -- While worn, you die if you take any damage. If you transmogrify it or use a transmute spell on it, it turns into the Ring of Wonder: +2 gold per kill, +2 damage, +2 armor, +1 heart container (full), shorter spell cooldowns, +1 regen, +charisma"
Amazing. Can't wait to show you later when the redness dies down :3 I'm feeling a little woozy now. It took 2.5 hours and I think it's catching up with me.
> Falcon 9 and DSCOVR now counting down to 6:03pm ET liftoff. However, extreme weather at landing site preventing first stage recovery, so soft landing only.
And it will compound your sentence if you are found guilty of both counts. So let's make sure this is a hate crime before we call it one. I'm not saying it is or isn't. Let's just get our facts straight before we decide on things.
either way, other sources are saying they've had run-ins with this guy before, that he has used hate speech (allegedly) and terrorized them by bringing up disputes with a gun obviously strapped to his side (allegedly)
we'll see how it plays out. Otherwise, it's very tragic. It happened in NC. I have a friend who goes to Chapel Hill. I thought I'd share what's happening in my corner of the world today
Mostly asking here because I don't trust to go clicking on Google results for this. So open question.
Does anyone know of and trust any xbox original emulators for PC?
My nostalgia is craving The Sims Bustin' Out for xbox, specifically.
Whenever I try to launch Geometry Dash through Steam or through the executable file itself, the game fails to run, and no window appears. It had run fine for a while, and one day it simply wouldn't start anymore. Reinstalling the game and restarting Steam/my computer doesn't help anything. Upon ...
