@Fluttershy It's not like the company held a beta out of the goodness of their hearts, I'm sure those beta players contributed some data that the company found useful
@Unionhawk The way I see it... You go to a restaurant and order a steak, medium. They bring you your steak. It's well done, but you eat it anyway. And then, after you've eaten 90% of the steak, you ask for your money back because it wasn't cooked the way you wanted it.
@badp figure out the price difference for the beta vs full game, do math, then don't let them have a full copy if they get a refund and played the beta
More of less the same thing i asked here but this time referring to Kingdom Hearts 2 as i have played the PAL Release on PS2 and would like to know the differences between that and Final Mix and what may have been added to that in 2.5 HD Remix
@Unionhawk Indeed if that is the way you find it, then I suggest you only buy games that are fully released or purchase them solely based on what they are.

Here's the thing with that particular case. The beta level was like $150 (100 GBP iirc). They don't want people to now go "I don't like this thing I want that money back".

It's the project creator's responsibility to complete their project. Kickstarter is not involved in the development of the projects themselves.
Kickstarter does not guarantee projects or investigate a creator's ability to complete their project. On Kickstarter, backers (you!) ultimately decide the validity and worthiness of a project by whether they decide to fund it.
@James I remember some post of someone's driver's license picture with a pasta strainer hat. DMV said take it off, they said it's religious headwear pastafarianism etc.
Either people will recycle cards, so you have less offer to compete with, or people will buy cards to make gems, and you have more demand burning through the supply quicker.
@Unionhawk I dunno how it works in yanksland, but here it's pretty clear -- if I have a contract and I uphold my end and you don't, I'm going to sue you and win, and you'd better avoid my suing in the first place.
@Unionhawk if you can prove that the difference between what was promised and what was delivered is significant enough that, had you known, you wouldn't have signed the contract in the first place -- according to what law I've studied, which is the Italian law -- the judge will cancel the contract.

that said, I do agree that the argument is going to be harder for someone who has already played the game
Offline mode is a deal breaker for somebody who, say, has no internet connection that's good enough for the game. If you have played the game... it's going to be tricky.
When you use the Eon Flute to soar on Latias or Latios, you automatically mega evolve them. If you take away their mega stone, the game will transfer it to to them when you soar, even if you give it to a different pokemon to hold.
