Hi just a quick question for anybody with the knowledge I've brought my xbox 360 from England with me to slovakia can I use it here or will it blow up if plug it in?
How do I enable the bumper cars function on my map? What command would let me use bumper cars on any map? I've heard sometimes that if you try to add bumper cars they won't show, is this actually an issue, and if so, how do I fix this?
In CoH 1 the artilery was quite annoying, because it had high range (almoust over whole map) and could be fired quite frequently. If you build a bunker it could be destroyed by one artilery. Or your base could be attack by artilery whole game.
How is it in CoH 2 in comparison to CoH 1?
While you can addcond 82 to do it using cheats, the bumpercar model and sounds won't be loaded if you do that.
You really need a server plugin to do it correctly. As of right now, there are 3:
Kartify by Dr. McKay
Bumper Cars by Chdata
Bumpa Cars! by Matt_
Of these 3, the first two were upd...
There should be a video one-boxed at the bottom of that
@JasonBerkan Keep in mind that some heroes are just plain worse then others when it comes to keeping your gilds on them. Fisherman is pretty bad IIRC see here for some more info.
Within Destiny you can report players. At first I thought this was for only negative feedback but after using it to report someone for a negative thing I found out that you can report people for positive behavior as well.
I searched around and was unable to find whether any amount of reporting ...
@murgatroid99 Well, I don't even see a network request for it... it does show up as unblocked in the Adblock Plus option, but I'm also seeing some "blockpage" things, meaning that something is being blocked by our web filter here.
@murgatroid99 That's been my understanding from the beginning. If it requires a developer to have talked about it in order for us to answer it, it doesn't belong here.

@Frank I've answered many this way, and they have been accepted by the community. Heck, people have accepted and encouraged me EMAILING indie devs and such to ask them things.
> Questions about Game Design and Development are off topic. This includes speculative questions about developer intent, with respect to both mechanics and narrative.
The question I have in mind, in particular, is this one. There are arguments being made that this question is off topic because it requires developer insight in order to have a 100% authoritative answer. Does this fall under the category of developer intent or not?

I realize that many times when there is an issue with a game on Steam, it can be solved with "Verify Integrity of Game Cache". But, what exactly does this do?
I tried running Darksiders and it gave me an error of "Missing Executable", so I figured the verify would easily catch that and install ...

@murgatroid99 Nothing you've said has been anything but, "We allow questions that require dev only knowledge". And I am specifically pointing to our stance that has said we don't.
@Frank Just because a lot of people disagree with you, and are trying to explain and express such, does not mean that we are dogpiling, we just all happen to have a different shared stance than the one you possess.
@Frank Also, a good thing to remember, is that you don't necessarily need to respond to every statement. It is not up to you to solo "impose" order here
I had an interesting thought while browsing the terraria wikis. It claims that the goblin army blocks biome spawns. Could someone lure a goblin into a hole and trap it to avoid fighting any enemies in that biome?
If so, will it work in the corruption for farming The Eater of Worlds (or any othe...
@Frank: The question is essentially asking "What does this in-game feature do?", which is perfectly on-topic. That's how I view the question, which is why I think it's fine.

We've discussed dev intent/dev knowledge before on Meta, take it there if you have a problem with the current decision

Question seems to ask "what does x do" and while we might not know what x does, it doesn't mean no one will, or no one does
I read the second paragraph, "I searched around and was unable to find whether any amount of reporting (good or bad) actually has an affect on the players you're reporting. If anyone knows what the implications of the reporting system is I would welcome the information."
And then I asked for someone that plays Destiny to answer a question for me.

@Frank Again, this is something that will, in all likelihood, be revealed at some point
@murgatroid99 That's still not something I'm clear on. A question that requires knowledge from the developer to answer is still off-topic. For the LoL question, there's something to point to and test to at least get close to what the answer probably is.
The difference for this question, so far as I know, is that there's nothing there for us to be able to test.
Last paragraph from the answer: Sure we can't prove anything beyond a reasonable doubt, but we can make a reasonable assessment based on experience, and the knowledge we can uncover. But that does not make it off-topic.
One could theoretically organize hundreds of players to report eachother, a hundred other players to not report eachother, try to synch the entering of an instance as they each play a hundred games, and see whether there are statistically significant differences
@murgatroid99 That's the whole reasoning for the, "Why did they design it that way?" type of question. And is there to prevent speculation and rumors from clogging up answers.
For a full answer on this question, right now I'm getting the feeling that it requires a developer to properly answer. In which case, the fallback: is this something we can objectively test?
@Frank OK, if you're just going to ignore that meta, can you provide a source indicating that objective testability is a criteria for determining whether a question is on topic
@murgatroid99 I'm not ignoring it! I'm trying to point out the difference between the question it was about, and the one we're currently talking about!
Is answerability something we decided was a good metric recently? I thought answerability being a bad metric was one of the reasons we had trouble with a lot of Lore questions

reasonable assessment = something to point to and verify, no?
I have an nvidia gpu and as such will not be launching Beyond Earth with the mantle option. Is there a way to bypass the start up option of launching in normal mode or mantle mode, and just always default to normal?
Occasionally while fishing, I will get a message like this:
What affects these events? Do all instances of a single fish type have the same strength? How can I lower the chance of these happening?
