If you have a Steam account and like free games, you should check this out:
1. Create a GMG account on greenmangaming.com
2. Get Rush Bros for free from freegame.greenmangaming.com (it says it might take up to 48 hours but mine took 5 minutes) and activate it on Steam
3. Sign into playfire.com using your GMG account and link it to your Steam account (+ £0.50)
4. Go to PlayFire settings and click the checkbox that says "Sign me up to the latest Playfire news, exclusive offers and competitions) (+ £0.50, you can uncheck it later)

Allowing you to be horrendously overpowered once you deign to start the story aspect.

I found it rather rough around the edges, in the tutorial I got seriously stuck at the point where I was supposed to fire my weapon. It turns out that the problem wasn't the keybindings as I suspected, but that because of what I chose as starting option I started with a pure trading ship that didn't have any weapons.

"open world" gives you an...open world that you are free to explore at your own pace. "sandbox" is generally "do what you want; whatever's supported in the engine". Skyrim is open world but not a sandbox. Garry's mod is a sandbox but not open world.

I do kinda wish the TF2 devs would have used standard Source entities for some things.

Although I can kinda see why we have different spawn point things since they can be tied to control point owner.

Then again, TF2 also does some... weird... things. Dustbowl is a good example as walls that didn't exist in round 1 suddenly come into existence in round 2.
