Q: loading Pokemon emerald android

I was playing and saving Pokemon emerald on android in myboy emulator using the ingame menu. Now I cannot figure out how to load that session... There is no load option in any menu. And I know the file is saved because there is a .sav file. Hire can I load it?

@5pike I'd give it a try, it's best with a friend or two/three though, ideally one that's played before. It's not super hard, but it's fun to get all tactical and plan stuff out as you go

Iktsua is a mangling of the Inuit word "Iktsuarpok". This word is untranslatable into english but means something like: "The feeling of anticipation that leads you to go outside and check if anyone is coming".

The reason we chose this as the name was because the game is based on a coming of age story, where an Inuit/Eskimo boy goes into the wilderness to become a man while his family anxiously waits for his return.

You go off into the wilderness and have to learn to adventure and hunt to survive. Eventually you will grow into a man. At this point you return to your village and are married…

@agent86 Oh, that's not too helpful then, I was thinknig cursor aiming in FPSes, works pretty well in Wii/Move, but just a biiiit too fussy for me. Unsure if PS4's camera fixes that. And Wii U's is exactly the same as Wii's

@PanicBomb yeah, some of the 360 games also use swiping and pushing for navigation. the sesame street game from double fine uses something similar. you swipe to change pages in the storybook, then you "grab tabs" at the edge of the pop-up book and pull out to load a scene.

Which I'm sure they won't since the whole point was supposed to be "don't need a controller". I think Move had sort of the right idea, but bad marketing and it looks silly. Might do better with VR. I'm hopeful at least

for instance, the PS4's overscan correction as an OS-wide setting. That is FANTASTIC

I never want to set overscan settings per-game again (especially since nothing should use overscan anymore)
