I've heard a bunch of you mention the site's SEO during several meta discussions, and if that's something which interests you, I really recommend checking this out moz.com/blog/auditing-the-moz-qa-optimization-and-insights
@MartinSojka It's a game based around being right on the internet
@MartinSojka It looks something along the lines of WoWoW
Aw. So meta. Anyway, it seems there's a whole new culture for such pointless entertainment which I'm not part of anymore. Man, I miss the Usenet.
@TheTrueAPlus We were applying a databse trigger update that had a rather bad lockup, sorry about the unintended interruption.
@Unionhawk Oh, @FEi and the rest: I think this proves once and for all that Europe is weird. QED.
...
@Unionhawk Are you telling me this kind of thing, categorically does not happen in the US?
@Unionhawk Don't you tell anyone to ignore any porkchops!
13:12
I THOUGHT I GRABBED THE RIGHT MESSAGE APPARENTLY NOT
I don't even know what message I grabbed.
@Unionhawk Trial by combat
Ah. Well, no, not usually anymore.
I mean, it was a thing, back in the old west days, I guess
I'm sure it's happened though.
@Unionhawk well it's not like america doesn't have it's fair bunch of non-existent things it keeps on insisting exist there, like equality and justice for all
@KevinvanderVelden You're comparing Germans declaring that there is a mountain right over there you just can't see it but trust me it's there to... the... possibility that liberty and justice for all may be fundamentally flawed?
I...
...
No.
Just no.
@Unionhawk I was mostly joking =p
Also, I'm not saying the possibility is flawed, I'm saying that in practice it is not a thing that is currently in existence
13:17
And I'm saying that there's a group of Germans who believe in a mountain that isn't there.
something something creationism
@Unionhawk Hey, it might be.
@OrigamiRobot don't tell me your an agnostic tea-pot-ist as well?
Don't act like you're some kind of mountain expert.
@KevinvanderVelden I don't even know what that means.
13:27
@OrigamiRobot agnostic on $subject means you state that you don't have the knowledge to say yes or no on a subject, this is often used by religious people to say there god exists/and-or we should act as if that god exists (no logic is not their strongest point)
You explained the part I do know.
and I'm typing the rest
FLASH SALE ALERT: Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine is 87% off for the next 8 hours http://bit.ly/HSSpringSale
Great game
multiplayer stealth/puzzle, each character has unique abilities. Great with voice chat
@BenBrocka Got it already from a bundle, I think.
Tea-pot-ist is a reference to Russel's teapot which is an analogy as to why you can safely say you do not believe in the existence of a god

Q: loading Pokemon emerald android

vaibhavI was playing and saving Pokemon emerald on android in myboy emulator using the ingame menu. Now I cannot figure out how to load that session... There is no load option in any menu. And I know the file is saved because there is a .sav file. Hire can I load it?

@5pike I'd give it a try, it's best with a friend or two/three though, ideally one that's played before. It's not super hard, but it's fun to get all tactical and plan stuff out as you go
@BenBrocka Played it a bit. As with every co-op stealth game, pubs is horrible.
But none of my friends have this game
@uni Europe isn't weird ... Berlin is.
@Wipqozn healing difficulty ramps up at Brayflox's Longstop (Lv. 32, before you can get regen), so you have to manage your MP (can make strategic use of freecure and stoneksin)
@FEichinger Well, Berlin is in Europe, right?
13:34
Berlin is not representative of all of Europe. Not even all of Germany.
I repeat my question.
@Krazer Aetherflow was my best friend for that.
@FEichinger Dutchies are weird too. But that has nothing to do with Europeans being or not being weird.
It helps that it has it's own charge-specific skills, too.
@Frank WHM doesn't have that
13:35
@5pike I could possibly play a bit sometime. And yeah, public players are kinda annoying. And, last I played, the game made it kinda awkward to organize a private game
@Krazer Well, who's fault is that? :P
I have at least one other friend who loves it
@Frank Undergeared tanks
Also, most levels are at least possible solo, but it's not as fun
@FEichinger One could argue that not being 100% normal means something is weird. Therefore, if Berlin is in Europe and Berlin is weird, Europe has a non-zero amount of weirdness.
13:36
@BenBrocka Yeah, I noticed.
@Krazer And overzealous DPS. Of which I am sometimes one.
@OrigamiRobot then the whole world is weird. Also the whole universe.
Cleaner and the guy with the monkey make a good combo
I usually play the cleaner

Q: Good one-ear wireless headset for PC suggestions

Adam K DeanI know this may be a little bit off topic but I am sure this is where I will find the people with the answer. I am looking for a good quality one-ear wireless headset for use with a PC (Skype etc). I once bought one for about £20 but it was really bad quality, so I'm now a bit sceptical of blue...

@Lazers Burn.
13:38
The stealth takedowns aver very satisfying (and practical)
@5pike Well, since weird and normal are relative terms and not everyone thinks 100% the same, this is true.
@OrigamiRobot We should just leave it at - we're all weird.
@Frank locked
@5pike If we're all weird, then we're all normal, for at least one value of normal.
@Arperum Yay!
13:43
@OrigamiRobot Yeah. Weird and normal is a matter of perspective.
Yay, the insurance company isn't questioning the loss (not that there's any doubt the car's totally destroyed)
Every time I see someone say "burn" in here I think they're pointing out a good insult, and am always disappointed when they just want flags or votes
@BenBrocka good news in a bad situation at least =p
@BenBrocka Yea, I'd be more than a little concerned if anybody saw that picture and had any questions about the usability of the car.
@OrigamiRobot Well, the question would be "did you burn it down yourself for the insurance?"
DAMN YOU AND YOUR TIMELY EDITS
13:46
sounds like they just need confirmation from the dealer RE what options were installed and need to inspect the junk. Fire marshal hasn't cleared them do to anything yet (it's still a crime scene for now)
@Sterno Only the turtle uses it in that manner.
@Frank Clearly everyone should be more like @Wipqozn.
Then I can blame everyone.
@BenBrocka Ugh, that sounds problematic.
@FEichinger No, I'm pretty sure Europe is weird, in general. In about the same degree that North America also is, I'll give you that.
13:50
also the county wants the plates if they're remotely intact. I didn't look specifically for them but I kinda doubt it
14:03
@SaintWacko Grats! Is level 4 the last one? Or is there one after that?
I'm always amused when reading iOS game reviews and people say things like "looks fun, but $4.99 is too much". Particularly if it's something like a 40+ hour RPG
@Sterno s/amused/horrified
@Sterno That's standard price for most Kairosoft games.

Q: Is it possible to play Cthulu saves the world on Mac?

ReinI recently bought Cthulu saves the World on Steam, and was wondering if it was possible to play it by using Crossover, or other similar applications. It's also in the App store.

@Sterno I've seen that on $1 and $2 games. If it lasts even a half hour and is enjoyable in any way I can't imagine complaining about price for a $2...anything
14:14
Has anyone played The Quest (for just about any mobile device, from what I can tell)?
Reviews make it sound like a good old-school RPG, but mobile reviews tend to think things that would be considered absolute crap if they were PC games are awesome when it comes to RPGs.
Ugh, Firefox stop changing your layout
@Sterno Pocket Tactics is a surprisingly solid for mobile game info (they HATE standard F2P crap) but it doesn't look like they covered that one
> Like most superheroes with an appetite for vengeance, Voteman's rage is fuelled by his own past failure – to vote in a previous European election and the subsequent realisation that he had no influence over climate regulations, agricultural subsidies or the amount of cinnamon in his Danish pastry.
@fredley It's not like he had any influence in the first place.
@Frank shhhhhh.
14:24
That's what most young people realize nowadays. You're not voting for who you think will do the best job. You're voting on who you think will do the least damage.
Because all politicians are the same; promise everything, make excuses why they can't deliver.

Q: Devil Survivor 2: How to have more than 1 unique demons?

HunterIs there any ar code that can let us have more than 1 unique demons in Devil Survivor 2? Also are there demon modifier codes just like pokimon modifie codes in Pokemon series.

@Frank Or you're not voting for the person that will do the least damage, but instead against the person who will do the most.
@MBraedley Either way, it's a broken system.
BLEERGH
I finally work up the courage to call the realestate person and he's not there -,-
14:29
Oh, the UPS dude didn't fuck up this morning, and I now have my new motherboard and processor in my hands very near me :)
@BenBrocka I'm pretty sure that moustache is fake.
@5pike but he actually wears a tiny monocle, right? RIGHT?
I will never understand the internet's hedgehog obsession
@OrigamiRobot they're cute and fluffy spiky!
14:31
@OrigamiRobot You don't understand the internet's sloth obsession, either.
They're not cute.
@OrigamiRobot because sanic
They're cute balls of grump
@OrigamiRobot he's wearing a tiny monocle! How can that not be cute?
Because it's not a cute animal to begin with.
14:33
My other guess is guilt. They are prone to die because lawn movers.
They're not ugly either. They just are.
If you want something cute that rolls into balls, get a pangolin.
Can you guess what time it is on my coworkers radio? That's right it's Elton John meets System Of A Down time again for no goddamn good reason
@KevinvanderVelden woohoo!
@OrigamiRobot also cute!
14:35
@KevinvanderVelden Hedgehogs are super fluffy
...on the bottom
@MattЭллен it's SOAD - Chop Suey set to the tempo of an elton john song
It's kinda hilarious
Cmon, tiger. What are you even doing?
@OrigamiRobot BAD KITTY, STOP EATING THE CUTE THINGS
@KevinvanderVelden do want
@KevinvanderVelden thanks! I will watch it later when I'm back home :D
AAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE
PANGOLINS ARE NO LONGER CUTE
@OrigamiRobot Impressive
@5pike WHERE DOES IT EVEN GO?
@OrigamiRobot It's just hungry!
@OrigamiRobot typically? Ant nests IIRC
14:42
I MEAN WHERE DOES IT KEEP IT
pangolins are adorable
you realize they're basically armored anteaters, right?
Yes, I know. I just didn't need to see it
but you did need to show everyone else :D
@KevinvanderVelden they usually fail, Pangolins are super tough and the scales cut up predators' mouths
@OrigamiRobot ooh, probably all scrunched up like this:
14:44
@MattЭллен If I suffer, so must everyone.
fire department called, sounds like they have no better idea of what happened then I do (or they just don't tell you until they're done investigating)
@OrigamiRobot so sharing

Q: Why are enemies so treacherous?

Niet the Dark AbsolOn many, many occasions in Skyrim, I fight an enemy and get them to low health. At this point, by far the most common thing they say is: No more! I yield! I yield! I have, of course, learned better. But originally I figured "eh, what the hell, I've already pickpocketed him for everything, I...

14:53
It's eaten rotten because it's poisonous fresh. Logical, no?
@BenBrocka It's the burying that bothers me
I wonder how many people died before they figured out 12 weeks
@MattЭллен not enough, they're still eating it
@5pike Every culture seems to like it's share of rotten stuff.
14:55
@MBraedley I remember seeing a documentary where they hung them up, or put them in a drum, for 12 months.
I don't eat any rotten things TMK
@OrigamiRobot well, going by the comics "fermented == rotten". Beer. Though that's not eating of course
isn't tofu fermented soya bean curd?
@KevinvanderVelden Which I don't drink.
14:58
I'm trying (and failing) to come up with the strange stuff that Canadians eat.
@MattЭллен no, coagulated
pixels <3
@Frank Prairie oysters.
14:59
@OrigamiRobot yogurt?
@Frank poutine is pretty weird, but not rotten
Huh, it's basically cheese curds but from soy milk instead of... well cow/goat/whatever milk
@JasonBerkan Can't say I've tried that.
@BenBrocka Yeah, that was all I could come up with.
$399 Xbox One without Kinect confirmed - http://news.xbox.com/2014/05/xbox-delivering-more-choices
was hoping it'd be $350
15:00
@Frank Me neither, but it is a thing that exists.
Surströmming (, Swedish for "soured herring"), is fermented Baltic sea herring and is a staple of traditional northern Swedish cuisine since at least the 16th century. Just enough salt is used to prevent the raw fish from rotting (chemical decomposition). A fermentation process (which converts sugar to acids, gases and alcohol) of at least six months gives the lightly-salted fish its characteristic strong smell and somewhat acidulous taste. When opened, the contents release a strong and sometimes overwhelming odour; the dish is ordinarily eaten outdoors. According to a Japanese study, a...
> German food critic and author Wolfgang Fassbender wrote that "the biggest challenge when eating surströmming is to vomit only after the first bite, as opposed to before."
They also killed the paywall for Netflix and are starting Games With Gold for Xbox one, as expected
Meat preservation here took the form of smoking, rather than fermenting.
Same thing over here usually
OK, soy sauce is fermented
15:04
Smoking, curing and drying are typically used.
Not letting it rot and hope you won't die when eating it
Iktsua is a mangling of the Inuit word "Iktsuarpok". This word is untranslatable into english but means something like: "The feeling of anticipation that leads you to go outside and check if anyone is coming".

The reason we chose this as the name was because the game is based on a coming of age story, where an Inuit/Eskimo boy goes into the wilderness to become a man while his family anxiously waits for his return.

You go off into the wilderness and have to learn to adventure and hunt to survive. Eventually you will grow into a man. At this point you return to your village and are married
@BenBrocka like the free games PSN subscription thing?
"free games forever! until you stop paying or move out of your country!"
Region locks are enabled by PSN account not physical area. Doesn't matter where you are, matters what region's site you signed up for the account on
But yeah it's basically been PS+ but worse games
previously it was "if you had gold this month, you get to "buy" this game for $0.00"
15:15
Why are region locks even a thing still?
Because managers
though it sounds like they're going to the service model of "only playable while sub is active" which is previously what they cited as the reason Games With Gold had less/worse games
the press release makes it sound like the XB1 will be more like PS+ "if you have gold this month, you can play this game until your gold runs out"
I bet it's just that their software on the 360 didn't support that model
@OrigamiRobot Because Nintendo mostly. Though Sony's digital region things leaves something to be desired. It's MOSTLY only a problem on Vita due to it's single-account architecture though
or it was painful or whatever
region locks are so that the company can engage in regional price wars without impacting the global market
15:17
@agent86 possibly. PS3 always had licensing terms built in (there was an "expires" field which was odd until they announced PS+ and timed subs)
or, y'know, price things differently depending on demand in a region
for instance, halo sells like shit in japan. so they discount it heavily. it sells well in the US. they region lock so they can charge more in the US
otherwise people would just import by the pallet load and sell at the japanese price + markup for the import and so forth

Q: Life beyond the castle?

BatophobiaI've completed the Castle of Zombies (several times), done all the boss ciphers, beat the training robot (several times), and dug to the Old Machine that needs a lava bucket. I also have Diamond Sword, Helmet, and Boots (working on Diamond Chestplate and Pants). Where can I go from here? What ...

there's no customer value, it's strictly a business thing.
@BenBrocka we've had a few questions about people moving from country to country losing access to PSN, or access to PSN purchases, and the only answer was to start a new account
15:20
@badp everything I've heard seems to indicate the solution to living in a country with no PSN access is to make an account for a region with access gtplanet.net/forum/threads/…
@GnomeSlice It's okay. No one developed for it anyway. Except rare
Congratulations to everyone with Kinect games in development.
@PanicBomb hahahahaha

Q: Can I change my credit card country in PSN?

EmilianoI've just changed country and moved from Italy to UK to work. I'd like to buy a game from PSN using my PSP and my new English credit card. However it seems impossible to change my country in the billing address (and without changing it, my payment is refused). Is there any way to switch my coun...

The biggest example to me is Harmonix with their Fantasia game
15:21
(I didn't really look into this)
I will probably end up getting a kinect, just because the wife loves her dance games
I personally hate the thing with a passion
@badp Change country of account != change physical location. Nothing in the box makes it stop working if you move
@Sterno wtf
most people just use a prepaid card to use an account in an arbitrary place
@agent86 wonder how much they'll sell the kinect separate for. I heart it was like $150 to make, so I was expecting $350 w/o kinect
@GnomeSlice Read it. Super psyched.
15:23
@BenBrocka it will probably be more than $100 standalone. from a business perspective, they want you to lean towards the more expensive bundle, so there will be a discount for buying it all at once.
@GnomeSlice Now I'm not saying such people should be shot or something like that, mind you. I'm saying we can give them a full 24 hours to prepare and then just launch them into space, where they can at that point can do whatever it is people do when launched into space.
From a cannon.
@StrixVaria I wonder how long it will take from starting a new game to reaching space travel and other planets.
It seems like up until that point you're stuck on the home planet.
Yeah I'm guessing $150, maybe more. depends on the actual cost to make it
I actually really like the minimal interaction thing they're going for.
there's probably a percentage in a spreadsheet somewhere of people who bought a base model 360 and added a kinect vs people who outright bought the bundle. the attach rate probably sucks for the standalone unit, connected to units post-kinect bundle availability.
15:24
I like games to either have micromanagement or macromanagement, or to completely separate them (like in XCOM) so I only have to worry about one at a time.
you want the money, and you want it in their house, so you discount.
I can never balance things right in Civ V.
And I'm so bad at RTS games.
@agent86 they sold literally millions of the things last gen. Which is why it's almost total lack of use is extremely pathetic and damning
It's not being underused because the hardware sold poorly IMO
15:26
@BenBrocka I think the tech just wasn't really there yet. Practically everything I've ever done with it was painful and error prone.
it was a reaction to the perceived popularity of motion control from Nintendo, if I had to guess.
user15026
@sterno I approve of this use of a space cannon.
From what I saw, Kinect Sports Rivals seemed to work fairly well most of the time, but a lot of other things about that game were pretty bad, so
not because the tech was baked and ready for primetime. I hear they improved things for the XB1, but I've still got a bad taste and I really, really hate voice commands
@agent86 The funny part is that some people say the Kinect is really nice for dashboard navigation because the dashboard is a nightmare to navigate with a controller
Voice commands are the best part, I wonder if the Kinect-less Xbox will still come with a microphone.
15:27
if you can't find where something is, your only recourse is to say "XBOX [THE THING I WANT TO DO]"
The problem is I'm not sure camera controls can feasibly be completely perfect beyond, possibly, cursor aiming (which I can't imagine Kinet is actually good at)
@PanicBomb I'm hoping they'll unfuck the UI while removing the Kinect
@PanicBomb I don't want to talk to my console, and I don't want it listening. A lot of times it has picked up on things when I'm talking to my wife and done things I didn't want to do
I want a Kinect without an Xbox that plugs into my TV so that I don't need to find remotes anymore.
That's why I want the wii u to drop the gamepad...I already have the gamepad, but if they drop it they'll have to fix the UI that randomly doesn't work without it
@BenBrocka I'm sure a dashboard refresh will be coming eventually (the 360 had, what, 3?) but I bet it won't be for at least another year
15:29
@BenBrocka cursor control actually isn't half bad with kinect. it's probably the one thing it manages to do without effing it up
But if Microsoft is really trying to back down from the Metro ledge then maybe they'll un-Metro the Xbox One dashboard a bit in the process
@JasonBerkan I can't fathom why all TVs can't be completely controlled by smarthphone apps without extra/IR recieving
@agent86 really? It seems impossible for it to be half as good as PS Move or Wiimote aiming due to the light + sensor combo both use
(and even then, going offscreen is a huge pain in the ass on Move and Wii)
@BenBrocka Yeah, seems like the TV manufacturers are missing a good feature there.
@BenBrocka yeah, it's pretty decent at tracking your hand if you put it out in front of your body. you can't "click" so interactions are generally "hold reasonably still for 3 seconds" but it's pretty quick, tbh
15:31
Though the Bluetooth integration of my phone to my van leaves a lot to be desired.
@JasonBerkan instead they're focusing on Smart TVs with their own OS and extra costs and augh no stop
Keep the displays dumb and allow external control as easily as possible
maybe the XB1 version can do gesture recognition or let you snap your fingers or something. that would be cool. holding reasonably still isn't bad though
@agent86 the XB1 Kinect Sports game has you "push" towards the screen to select iirc
@BenBrocka I know. Last TV we bought, we had to get the salesman to take us to the dark corner where they kept all the TVs that didn't have an Internet connection.
@agent86 Oh, that's not too helpful then, I was thinknig cursor aiming in FPSes, works pretty well in Wii/Move, but just a biiiit too fussy for me. Unsure if PS4's camera fixes that. And Wii U's is exactly the same as Wii's
15:32
@agent86 You actually push forward with your hand
But I think staying still works too
@PanicBomb yeah, some of the 360 games also use swiping and pushing for navigation. the sesame street game from double fine uses something similar. you swipe to change pages in the storybook, then you "grab tabs" at the edge of the pop-up book and pull out to load a scene.
@BenBrocka I don't think FPS mouselook will ever work with Kinect that way
just realistically
@TimStone never done this on my kinect, but admittedly I don't use it much :)
I meant in the XB1 version, I forget about the 360
@BenBrocka yeah, no, not going to do that with a kinect, ever.
15:34
@PanicBomb yeah you'd need a separate controller for "fire" I guess
@BenBrocka Nah, just shout FIRE FIRE FIRE like you're using an NES LaserScope
Which I'm sure they won't since the whole point was supposed to be "don't need a controller". I think Move had sort of the right idea, but bad marketing and it looks silly. Might do better with VR. I'm hopeful at least
@PanicBomb how many of these things did the NES have?!
It's crazy that the NES had like 30 accessories and most consoles these days struggle to support one
(not that NES accessories had glorious support)
yeah, NES/SNES accessories were a total waste, imho
The best part is that most of those accessories were all third-party, not even Nintendo's idea
I probably had a half dozen of them, and you were lucky if there were 3 games past the pack-in that they worked with
@agent86 And I swear they must have been partly responsible for Sega's fall. The Genesis addons were ridiculous
at least these days there's a OS underlying the system that can make use of something like kinect. and they're focused on a very limited subset of accessories
Yeah. Wish they'd use the OS more to offload stuff like this (like supporting arcade sticks/old controllers)
for instance, the PS4's overscan correction as an OS-wide setting. That is FANTASTIC
I never want to set overscan settings per-game again (especially since nothing should use overscan anymore)
@BenBrocka It sort of blew my mind that the overscan settings on the Wii U weren't (aren't?) system-wide
The sad thing is I set overscan settings system wide on PS4 then launched Warframe...which immediately asks for overscan settings
15:41
lol
I think warframe was just kinda...not ported well, though. No other game has done that and Warframe performs pretty poorly
It's sort of like those Xbox 360 profile-level control preferences...great idea in practice, but almost no games bothered to check for them, rendering them useless
@PanicBomb didn't know it had that. It would be sweet for the OS to help handle per-game control settings
@BenBrocka Yeah, most people don't. It was things like "I would like to use inverted look by default"
They might have phased it out tbh, I don't even know if it's accessible on the current dashboard
Either I can never remember what "inverted" is or games don't use the term consistently because I never know which setting I want in a game until I try the controls and they're wrong
15:44
Yeah, I think it's only really consistent in first-person games
I like when games pull the trick of "okay, look up" and they just map inverted/not based on which way you move the stick
but OS wide settings could avoid that
Halo did that in 2001 and people still struggle to do it right!
Halo did that? Earlier than I figured. I got halo on PC
Not exactly that way, but IIRC it was "look up. Does that feel right to you? [Press Y to invert]"
or something like that, it's been a while
(and of course that's not in the PC version because there is a single correct way to do mouse movement in FPS games)
15:47
@BenBrocka Some people use inverted mouse in first person games
some people don't
OK, yeah, apparently it still exists: kotaku.com/…
@PanicBomb Yea, they at least made it flavorful.
@3ventic well, there's settings for it. But I've, fortunately, never had a PC game assume inverted anything
unless it's flight controls of course, where it makes sense
...but you shouldn't be flying with a mouse anyway
Friends don't let friends fly with mice, it's true.
15:50
@3ventic some games you hardly have a choice like BF3 (unless you keep a flight stick by your side I guess)
yeah but flying in the new battlefields feels bad anyway
I learned recently that some people played the X-Wing games with a mouse

Q: Dolphin emulator Gamecube performance

Fikko3107Yes, I am well aware there is an almost identical question in this site, but quite frankly, It did not answer my question. For some inexplicable reason, Gamecube games seems to really lag in my Dolphin, often running at a top speed of no more than 75%. What I find peculiar is that Wii games have...

@TimStone (The Rescuers being the notable exception, I guess)
mostly because you need more keys than there are on a joystick to do it properly..
Flying helicopters is alright with a mouse, but planes NOPE
15:51
CAn't you use a stick and a hand on the keyboard? I haven't used a flight stick since the 90s
I use both with my right hand so that's a no
@TimStone Stop talking to yourself.
How else would people know I was crazy?
From your gravatar.
@3ventic why wouldn't you use flight stick with your mouse hand?
15:56
So you could use mouse and flight stick at the same time?
The real solution to this quandary is to use the joystick for the FPS aiming part as well as the aircraft control
Everyone knows FPS aiming is best done on a mouse
@3ventic I have never had a flight stick, so I'm not really sure why I would want to do that
Be a real man and use a racing wheel for the FPS aiming part and the keyboard for the flight part
@Chippies Me neither
15:57
@BenBrocka Real men use the Kinect for the flying part, by holding out their arms like wings.
Use a keyboard for the aiming part and racing wheel for typing
You control speed by how loud your airplane noises are.
5
Maybe we should all just play with touchpads..
@3ventic I'm guessing you can use the mouse to look around the inside of the plane or something?
